Beauty Therapy (Holistic)

  • Browse the local directory for Beauty Therapy

Beauty Therapy is the treatment of skin, hair and nails, typically in a salon environment. Some Beauty Therapists also offer a massage service. Treatments can include:
  • facials
  • manicures
  • pedicures
  • nail extensions and nail art
  • hairdressing
  • special occasion hairstyling (bridal services)
  • make-up application
  • body hair removal (waxing, laser hair removal, electrolysis)
  • lash and brow tinting
Holistic Beauty Therapy is becoming popular in addition to traditional salon treatments. Many salons now offer a range of body massage treatments sometimes with the use of aromatherapy essential oils. Here are some holistic treatments that are now commonly found in a beauty salon:
  • body massage (swedish massage, sports massage, hot stone massage, indian head massage, see Massage)
  • reflexology
  • henna body art
  • body wrap
Treatments are usually booked in advance and can last between 30 mins to several hours depending on the services provided.
