Holistic Counselling is a form of counselling that utilises an interpersonal or humanistic approach to enable and enhance personal growth, healing and transformation. Holistic simply means whole, this means focusing on the whole person rather than the symptoms. Holistic Counselling works on the basis that we as individuals are able to heal ourselves in mind and body, however recognises, that there will be times in our lives when we will struggle to be able to do this and we may ‘lose our way’. This is where a Holistic Counsellor is useful and effective, Holistic Counsellors are compassionate and gentle and assist you in re-discovering yourself when you feel the need for support or assistance.
Holistic counselling does not take a one size fits all approach, a Holistic Counsellor offers individual and specific guidance and support in a safe and sacred space, to allow for healing and change to take place. As a counsellor, they will help you to open to all levels of your life (physical, emotional, spiritual, energetic and cognitive). Gentle and creative methods are used to help bring awareness and healing to your life and relationships.
