4U Health and Fitness is a friendly, non-intimidating private Studio with outdoor facilities. They have highly qualified male and female trainers who have outstanding reputations with many Ballarat locals. Regardless of your age or what shape you are in, they can tailor a program to suit you. You'll find you're fitness will improve quickly, especially if you're patient and consistent. They cater specific programs for all individuals.

If you're a mum, you can even bring your children to the gym where they can play for free. This allows women who are busy, to fit in their weekly exercise routine, without having to worry about arranging childcare.


Programs


These classes are fun and a great stress release. They contribute to weight loss, muscle tone, muscular strength and endurance.With small class sizes you will get the most efficient workout and our number one priority is providing a quality personalised service to our clients and to assist you in achieving the best results possible.


Mums and Bub Squad


Is a fitness class for mums and Children/babies! It’s a great way to get back in shape, socialise and meet other mums whilst getting fit & healthy with your baby along side of you.

Training sessions are flexible enough to accommodate everyone.


Pre & Post Natal


Generally, it is recommended that women wait about six weeks to start exercising after they have given birth; eight weeks if they have had a caesarean. However, some women can start exercising before this. Listen to your body and wait until you feel ready. When you decide to start an exercise program, discuss it with your health care provider first. As soon as you’re ready, get out ‘There are practical solutions that will fit into your new lifestyle such as walking to the shops or around the block.

‘Start by taking a stroll with your newborn once a week around the block at a comfortable pace. Think about your posture – shoulders back, tummy held in - and walk tall. Then the next week, progress to walking twice around the block.

As the weeks progress, you can walk daily, increasing the intensity as you feel more confident. How much you do depends on how you feel. The more active you were during pregnancy, the easier it is to resume exercise and recover after birth,’
