REMEDIAL
Remedial massage therapy targets particular muscles and muscle groups that are causing pain and discomfort. Treatment can provide effective relief for a range of conditions including musculo-skeletal pain, headaches, stiffness, tension, back pain, and strains. Designed to relieve pain and restore function to the body.
RELAXATION
A firm, rhythmically flowing massage that softens the body, reduces stress, stimulates circulation and allows the mind to rest. A calming awareness creates the space for you to let go of built up tensions. Generally a whole body massage that can focus on specific areas of tension. A soothing antidote to a busy life.
DEEP TISSUE
Like the name suggests this massage is deeper, more intense and involves consultation and assessment. This revitalising treatment targets muscles and related soft tissues. It helps to ease tension in the body, improve circulation and flexibility, reduce physical fatigue and increase overall wellbeing. An intense remedy for an aching body.
SPORTS
A stimulating pre-event massage prepares you for peak performance and helps to focus your mind. Massage following an event aids recovery and helps reduce muscle soreness and stiffnessby helpping to drain toxins such as lactic acid from the body. As a regular part of your training program massage assists with injury prevention and improves muscular function and flexibility. A true enhancement to your fitness and performance.
HOT STONE
This nurturing and fluid Hawaiian-style massage encourages detoxification and a deep meditative state of relaxation. Heated oiled stones are used to stroke and warm the body causing muscles to unlock and release tension. A blissful detoxifying session for balance and renewal.
How can massage benefit your health?

Your wellbeing is our passion
We are sometimes asked
‘what does adagio (ad-ar-gee-o) mean?’Its origin is Italian, meaning 'at ease'. In music it describes a slow leisurely tempo. And in ballet, it refers to a sequence of flowing graceful movements that display great skill.
For us, adagio is a state of mind and a way of life. It's about moving to our own relaxed rhythm. Living with effortless flow and grace. And delighting in doing our best at what we love most. It captures our approach to massage therapy and what we want from it for you - for your body and mind to feel at total ease.
