1 .How does Acupuncture work for me ?
Every individual reacts differently to treatment. To explain further, Acupuncture can help to improve human body’s energy to flow unobstructed. This energy flow is through 14 meridians and collaterals in our body according to TCM basic theory. Needles are placed on points just along the meridians and collaterals .Points are similar to traffic signals .If there are blockages in an area , we get ill via toxin buildup .Acupuncture is helping to clear these signals and make energy flow turn to normal .
2. What are general principles of acupuncture treatment?

3. How many needles will you put on my body?
That depends on your health condition. Usually 1 -10 needles are designed for each session. Points are specifically designed after a detailed consultation .There is basic protocols for choosing the points; every treatment is tailored to your specific set of signs and symptoms. Treating an individual with a unique set of signs and symptoms, rather than a person with a specific condition, is the advantage that Eastern Medicine offers.
4.Time frames for results?
Again it depends on your health conditions currently. Most people will begin to see results from acupuncture in approximately 1--5 treatments. Treatments are generally administered3 times a week, twice per week or once per week for most conditions. Appointments get lesser as your health improves and subsequent appointments may range from once a week or once a month.
5. Does acupuncture hurt? What are the needles like?
