    The benefits of acupuncture are:
It is safe and very few side effects.
It is a very effective combination treatment.
It is effective in controlling some types of pain.
It may be considered for patients who do not respond to pain medications.
It is a useful alternative for patients who do not want to take pain medications.
It provides energy, strength and vitality to a recovering patient.
It works to boost the immune system.
It eliminates the need to take painkillers or it eliminates the actual pain.
Patients seem to recover faster as a result of continuous acupuncture sessions.
Acupuncture was proven to improve the body circulation and in some cases, even reduce stress symptoms.
It may be administered alongside clinical treatments without causing dangerous side-effects.
It can be a form of preventive medicine, as some may undergo acupuncture without any particular ailment, but nevertheless, reaps the benefits of it.

How many sessions do I need in order to starts feeling the benefits?
That depends on the severity of the condition. In mine experience, most
patients need 8-10 acupuncture sessions before we can properly evaluate how their condition is responding to treatment. Sometimes a patient will find relief after one treatment.

Usually patients feel an effect from acupuncture within 2-3 treatments.
If the condition is acute, it will usually resolve in fewer treatments (4-8 treatments) while chronic conditions may take longer.

Most times patients notice an effect that will last for a few days and then slowly return. Other times they notice an increase in discomfort followed by a significant decrease in symptoms.
