What happens in a treatment?
Treatments begin with a consultation exploring your presenting condition and health history.
The receiver lies on a futon, enabling deep relaxation, and a strong grounding for the practitioners movements. Treatment takes place fully clothed.
During the basic form treatment the receiver experiences a sense of deep relaxation and nurturance. More specific treatment can then take place, enabling the release of physical and emotional tensions. This occurs through the dispersion of energetic blockages as expressed in the meridian system.
Following treatment, clients report an increased feeling of relaxation, clarity, and relief from symptoms. Chronic conditions may require a series of treatments to be resolved or supported. The increased awareness of sensations and feelings that occurs during treatment is also a way of gaining insight with our own needs.
