Advance Massage Clinic and Training Centre is set in tranquil Nerang bushland, located at the base of the Gold Coast Hinterland 5 minutes from the Nerang CBD and no more than between 15 – 30 minutes from anywhere on the Gold Coast, 30 minutes to Coolangatta Airport and 1 hour to Brisbane Airport.

Remedial, Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue Massage, using deeper strokes and movements reaching deeper muscles and allowing the lymphatic fluid to flow freely, eliminating waste products and toxins, breaking up adhesions and relieving pain. An ideal adjunctive companion to Hot Stone Massage Therapy using heated stones as deep tissue tools
Sports Massage
Sports Massage keeps the muscles and joints in good supple and flexible condition mainly using cross fibre, broad cross fibre and deep longitudinal massage strokes. PNF ( Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and other specific passive and active stretch techniques may also be applied encouraging fast healing, injury prevention and peak performance at all times enabling a greater range of movement (ROM). An adjunctive to Myofascial Release and trigger point therapy, also an ideal adjunctive companion to Hot Stone Massage Therapy using heated stones as deep tissue tools
Advanced Remedial Therapies incorporating Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy
A combination of Advanced Muscular/Physical Therapy techniques. Indirect Myofascial Release stretches and lengthens muscle and fascia fibres and Direct Myofascial Release concentrates on applying precise gradual pressure on trigger points ( tender taut bands of muscle ) to release deep tension in the muscles, fascia and referred pain areas, unlocking knotted fibres, eliminating built up toxins and allowing the muscles to relax. A perfect adjunct to Sports and Remedial Massage. Advanced Remedial Therapy re-alignments and balances the body back to optimum health.

Swedish ( Relaxation) Massage
Designed to relax the whole body and mind using slower movements ( effleurage and pettrissage) working with the superficial muscles. Swedish massage concentrates on relaxing nervous tension, encouraging and stimulating good blood and lymphatic circulation and is an essential treatment for people suffering with deep trauma and emotional issues and is excellent for deep relaxation when incorporated into a Hot Stone Massage
Aromatherapy
A natural holistic treatment where essential oils are extracted from organic plant materials. Aromatherapy works well on all mental, physical and emotional levels balancing physiological harmony. Aromatherapy is an extremely relaxing experience and specific essential oils are chosen for your individual needs. Used in conjunction with massage, baths, inhalations and compresses, Aromatherapy relieves aches and pain, insomnia, depression, anxiety and when incorporated into Remedial, Sports or Advanced Remedial Therapy can help with the relief of dysfunctional injuries and disease and much more. Note: Aromatherapy is a contraindication in the first trimester of Pregnancy and if their is a history of miscarriage. Essential oils are highly volatile substances and some people may also be allergic to certain essential oils. A thorough consultation should always be conducted prior to treatment. An Aromatherapy treatment must only be delivered by a qualified practitioner.
Reflexology
A technique involving Compression Foot Massage, breaking down crystalline deposits that build up on reflex points (the nerve endings) of the feet, removing congestion and blockages from our neural, vascular, lymphatic and energy pathways permitting unobstructed flow of energy through the body, relaxing the nerves, improving circulation, normalising and balancing organ and gland function, relieving pain and relaxing the whole bodies' systems. Pressure is applied using thumbs and fingers to these reflex points that correspond to our body systems. An excellent treatment for people who cannot have full body massage and is also very beneficial for a multitude of ailments and specific conditions including musculo/skeletal, soft tissue, nervous and internal organ related problems such as kidney stones and much more
Hot Stone Massage
This is an ancient therapeutic thermotherapy treatment dating back thousands of years where Western, Eastern, and/or Hawaiian (kahuna) techniques can be involved using Igneous stones (of a volcanic origin that contain an abundance of rich minerals that absorb, retain and release heat). Placement stones are heated and placed on the back over associated effect points that correspond with all the bodies' systems. They can also be placed over the shoulders, in-between the arms and under the body or over any part that is required and specific massage stones are incorporated into the massage treatment including deep tissue stones for remedial, sports and advanced remedial techniques, facial stones for the facial massage treatment, toe stones and or reflexology stones for the foot reflexology massage treatment. A customised Hot Stone treatment can be delivered for your individual needs and these treatments range from a one and a quarter hour choice of half body stress Buster ( hands arms, head, face, neck, shoulders and feet) or remedial ( concentrating on legs, back, hip or neck problems), one and a half hour full body relaxation to an absolute indulgent complete two hour full body plus. This treatment is the whole package that can also address acute pain or chronic musculo skeletal problem areas if required and not only leave you pain free, flexible and revitalised but will also leave you deeply relaxed and floating with a feeling of whole wellbeing and balance
Manual Lymph Drainage
A full hour and a half body massage to specifically encourage the circulation of lymphatic fluids and elimination of waste products from the body, clearing blockages and relieving congestion. Light specific techniques are applied targeting lymphatic nodal areas and directing the flow of lymph towards the emptying ducts encouraging elimination of fluid retention, oedema and fatigue, strengthening the immune system which will allow the production of more energy
Pregnancy Massage
Advance Massage specialises in pregnancy massage with a safe, comfortable environment where the mother to be can relax with peace of mind and receive a massage to relieve the tensions that build up during this time. Safe gentle techniques are applied with care promoting good circulation of blood and lymph, keeping the muscles relaxed, preventing injury, relieving and preventing oedema (Fluid Retention), maintaining good posture, preventing structural dysfunction relaxing both mother and baby.
Pregnancy Massage in 2nd to 3rd trimester can also relieve muscular aches and pain and keep the pelvis aligned reducing and preventing pain in the lower back and hips. Pregnancy massage also aids in relieving heartburn and can prevent tightness in the diaphragm enabling better breathing (3rd trimester). Pregnancy massage is also very beneficial in relaxing and balancing emotional wellbeing for both mother and baby
Shiatsu Massage
A traditional Japanese style of Acupressure on a mat on the floor or on a table, incorporating thumbs and palms to apply pressure to specific points along the meridians of the body stimulating these points, clearing blockages, restoring the flow of energy to the body and balancing all the body's systems. This style is perfect for on site seated massage
On Site Seated Massage
We can come to you, to your office, workplace, corporate function or conference. A specially designed portable massage chair or face cradle that attaches to any desk or bench surface is used allowing you to relax and enjoy a Shiatsu style massage to relieve stress, tension, aches and pain in as little as 15 minutes. On Site Seated Corporate massage targets the back, head, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. No oil is used and there is no removal of clothing necessary. This is a very convenient, tidy and efficient way to enable you to receive a massage and is excellent for busy people. We service Nerang, Southport, Labrador, Bundall, Main Beach and Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach CBD areas"
