How can I help you?
As a naturopath I ask the question, "why are you unwell now?" This is answered by taking a detailed analysis of your illness, your health history, and your body's systems as a whole. Then I put in to place a treatment plan using nutritional supplements, herbs, and homeopathic remedies along with diet and lifestyle changes in order to help you achieve optimal health.
I am a firm believer in education as a key part of the consultation, so I will educate you with information on how to become a healthier person in the long term. All of my advice is realistic and sensible.

About the consultation
The first consultation with me typically takes an hour. Your current health concerns are explored in depth, as well as getting a general picture of your body systems and health history. At the end of this consultation, you will have a good idea of the naturopathic treatment plan, and how quickly you will expect to see improvements.
All subsequent consultations take 30 minutes, and are used to assess and monitor how the treatment plan is going.
Costs involved:

About Alchemy for the body and soul
My name is Jackie Arbuckle and I am a Naturopath. I studied at the Southern School of Natural Therapies, and have a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Naturopathy), which is the highest qualification available in Naturopathy. I have always had an interest in complementary medicine, growing up in a home that used these methods as a first instance when someone was unwell. I also have a Certificate of Feng Shui and Geobiology, which was obtained at the Australian College of Environmental Studies. This is the most comprehensive course in Feng Shui offered in Australia and is where my interest in the environment and its impact on health was sparked.
Why Naturopathy and Feng Shui? Being a naturopath means that I help people find the answers to their health concerns, and become well. Feng shui also takes into account the person’s home and how it can affect various aspects of a person’s health. This combination of the person and the home has given me a special interest in how the environment, along with the diet and lifestyle can impact on a person’s health and wellbeing.
Previously, I studied a degree in Applied Science, specialising in Human Biology, and also have an Honours degree in Psychology. This has provided me with a sound scientific background.
I have a keen interest in science and health, which has also been furthered through working as a research assistant at the Cancer Council of Victoria and The University of Melbourne for the past 11 years.
I have a particular talent for iridology, which is the analysis of a person’s health via looking at patterns in their iris, as I studied under one of Australia’s leading iridology lecturers and practitioners.
