WHAT IS CHINESE MEDICINE?
Chinese Medicine is an effective and very old form of therapy which aims to balance the body's energy flow. An illness or pain, for example, show there is an imbalance. Acupuncture, chinese herbs, changing diet, exercise and massage can be used to balance the body's energy system.
WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupuncture is one arm of Chinese Medicine which can be used to restore to balance of energy in the body. There are over 365 acupoints on the human body. Acupuncturists select their different points for each of their patients according to their condition and the desired treatment principle.
IS ACUPUNCTURE EFFECTIVE?
There is a growing body of CAM (Complementary & Alternative Medicine) Research which supports the effectiveness of acupuncture & chinese herbs in treating a variety of conditions. Back pain and infertility (IVF) are two such conditions.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS She earned her undergraduate degree in Brisbane at the Australian College of Natural Medicine now Endeavour College of Natural Health. She completed an internship in Nanning TCM University in Guangxi Province, China. There she worked with many esteemed Doctors in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is a member of the Australian Natural Therapist’s Assocition (ANTA) and Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). Aleisha also holds a Certificate 3 in Chinese Massage.
