About The Alexander Technique
More than a century ago in Sydney, Tasmanian-born F. Matthias Alexander (b. 1869, d. 1955) developed his ideas to solve his voice problems and save his acting career. Today, most people seek help for pain and discomfort in their necks and backs and for posturally related difficulties. Many of today’s Alexander Technique teachers are people who have gained so much value from the Technique they have chosen to pass on their insights and experience to their own clients.
Research validates the Alexander Technique for alleviating chronic low back pain
