Alexander Dietetics offers a high quality, holistic dietetic service in the comfort of your own home, without waiting for an appointment and with no traveling involved.
What we do
Consultations are conducted via email – this means you can contact us at your convenience, and as often as you wish.
In person and telephone consultations are also available.
How it works
Once registered, you will receive a questionnaire and a food and fluid diary for you to complete. Based on the information you provide, a personalised meal plan will be tailor-made to address all your health issues, your lifestyle, and your food preferences. You will also receive unlimited email contact with an Accredited Practising Dietitian for one small monthly fee.
All your personal details are treated with the strictest confidentiality and bound by the Code of Professional Conduct and Statement of Ethical Practice of the Dietitians Association of Australia and the British Dietetic Association.
The fee structure is simple and competitively priced, for more information see fees and rebates.
Rebates may be available from private health funds or Medicare [with an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) referral]. Please contact us for details. Department of Veterans’ Affairs patients can also be provided for in most instances.
Is it a diet?
We are not offering a quick fix or a short term fad diet. We will teach you what foods are best for your body, and help you make lifelong changes to your attitude towards what you eat, whatever your health needs.

Online Consultations
Alexander Dietetics offers easily accessible online consultations in the comfort of your own home. Our holistic approach will cover all your dietary requirements.
You will receive individual one-on-one assistance specially tailored to meet your personal needs. You will NOT receive a generic meal plan or quick fix FAD diet.
Alexander Dietetics will provide you with a personalised meal plan and unlimited email contact with an Accredited Practising Dietitian for a small monthly fee.
How Online Consultations Work
Once registered, you will be sent a questionnaire requesting details of your medical history and any medications you are taking. You will also receive a 7 day food and fluid diary for you to complete.
A personalised meal plan will then be designed, using foods you enjoy wherever possible. Your meal plan will be tailor-made to address all your health issues, your lifestyle, and your food preferences.
All your questions will be answered personally via email by an Accredited Practising Dietitian and you can email as often as you like.
Face To Face Consultations
Alexander Dietetics is based in New South Wales, Australia and in Sussex, UK. In some circumstances face-to-face consultations may be possible. Please contact Alexander Dietetics for more details.
Residential Aged Care Services
Individual resident needs will be addressed via email with nursing staff. Assessments are available for poor appetite, modified textures, tube feeds, supplements, digestive health and diabetes control.

About Alexander Dietetics
Alexander Dietitics is dedicated to your holistic health and well being. Founder Susan Alexander has been providing professional dietetic and nutrition services in Australia and the UK for over 30 years.
Susan Alexander [BSc(Hons)UK; MSc (Melbourne); MSc(Wollongong)]
Susan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian and Accredited Nutritionist. She also holds a Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training She is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia, The British Dietetic Association and the British Health Professions Council.
Susan has over 30 years experience as a dietitian and nutritionist. She has worked in private practice and hospitals, covering both clinical dietetics and meals service management. Susan has many years experience teaching Nutrition and Dietetics at TAFE and for NSW Health Promotion. Susan also holds qualifications and experience in bereavement management and group facilitation.
What is an Accredited Practising Dietitian?
An Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is bound by the Dietitians Association of Australia Code of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics. For more information please refer to our confidentiality clause.
An APD undertakes Continuing Professional Development to meet the annual requirements for accreditation by the Dietitians Association of Australia.
