SERVICES
Myofascial Techniques:
Based on the principle that injury, emotional trauma and bad posture can shift the body out of balance and alignment and the fascia becomes tight and restrictive. The technique uses sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system to get rid of restrictions in muscle fascia. The therapist palpates and assesses where problems and tightness are within the body and gentle pressure is applied in the direction of the restriction to help release it.
Used to relieve pain along spine, scoliosis, headaches, fibro myalgia, chronic pain, increases ROM, breaks down adhesions and scar tissue.
Reflexology:
Uses massage sequences and techniques especially for the feet. Based on the principle that the foot is a map of all the systems in the human body through a reflex mechanism. Deeply relaxing and can help with chronic conditions. By stimulating the reflexes in the feet, it is as though you are stimulating the corresponding organ/body system and can help bring the body back to balance and health.
Manual Lymph Drainage:
Whole body treatment that uses gentle rhythmic and pumping strokes to move skin in the direction of lymphatic return. It assists the immune system, eliminates toxins, dead cells, viruses and bacteria. Promotes healing, stress relief, anxiety and helps clients with lymph-oedema.
