What is Reiki?
Reiki translates as'Universal life force energy' it is the life force that is inherent in all things. Reiki restores balance on the physical, mental and emotional levels, uplifting the spirit and revitalising the energy flow.
Through Reiki you connect into the universal supply of that which is already within you.
Reiki as a system gives you the methods and techniques to tap into this infinite source and to channel to others who have not yet learnt how to do this for themselves. In this way you can never feel depleted after sharing this wonderful healing modality with another.
Individual hands-on attunement is required to channel Reiki as this is the process that opens your energy channels and clears any obstructions that impede the flow of Reiki. By becoming a Reiki channel you empower yourself to facilitate your own healing as well as help your family and friends.

Levels of learning
REIKI I
By learning Reiki level 1 you will tap into an infinite source of this gentle healing energy. You will be able to channel Reiki for self-healing purposes as well as for family, friends, pets and plants. In Japanese this level is called 'Shoden' meaning “first teachings”.
This course includes traditional Japanese Reiki techniques as well as some Western Reiki techniques such as chakra system basics and clearing and cleansing of crystals. It is structured for those who wish to deepen their knowledge and awareness of self as well as being of assistance to others.

REIKI II
Level II will give you a deeper understanding of yourself and the world around you.
In Japanese this level is called Okuden meaning “hidden teachings” or “deeper knowledge”.
Reiki II gives you the techniques to help you to use the Reiki energy in non-physical dimensions. You will learn how to send healing energy to people, situations and events that are not in your physical presence.
This is the practitioner level of study. You may choose to open your own healing practice or you may simply have a desire to grow in your personal Reiki practice. Practitioner skills are taught in this level of study.
Sending distant healing is very empowering as we never have to feel that there ‘is nothing we can do’ ever again or that someone is too far away for us to help them. Whether it is a natural disaster, war or political situation on the other side of the world or a situation in your own life that you want to send healing to, you will have the necessary tools to accomplish this.
Reiki II allows you to work with the vast potential of this healing energy closing the gap on distance, bridging time and space.

REIKI III
Reiki III / Master is taught as an apprenticeship which requires a minimum of 12 months experience as a Reiki level II practitioner. It is my belief that Reiki Master level cannot be taken lightly as teaching Reiki to others requires great responsibility and integrity. During your apprenticeship you will assist with Reiki classes of levels I and II including holding the energy during the attunements this is done so that by the time you learn to do your first Reiki I attunement you can easily feel the energy flow, you will also be required to conduct at least two Reiki share days and create your own Reiki manuals. The apprenticeship can last from 6 - 12 months however there must be 12 months between your level II and your level III attunements. The formal Reiki III class teaches you how to pass on attunements to others. You will also learn meditations appropriate to Reiki III for your own personal development.
All students are individually attuned & will have access to ongoing practice, assistance & support.
It is my intention that by the end of your Level III apprenticeship and formal training you will be competent in:
performing correct attunements for all levels
teaching Reiki to others
producing informative Reiki manuals
producing professional Reiki certificates
much much more.......
Eligibility for the Reiki level III / Master course is assessed on a student by student basis and will only be offered to those students who demonstrate a true desire to teach Reiki to others.
Assistance is given to students wishing to work as a professional Reiki practitioners to obtain membership with the Australian Reiki Connection (Australia’s leading Reiki Association) which provides valuable assistance and support to its members.

KIDS REIKI WORKSHOP
The essence of Reiki Healing is love and children take to it like ducks to water!
This workshop has been designed for children between the ages of 8 & 12 years old. All children attending this workshop must be accompanied by a parent / guardian who is at least attuned to Level 1 Reiki and has a good understanding of how Reiki works.
Reiki is easy for kids to learn and is a wonderful tool for:
Learning the qualities of compassion, patience, understanding and unconditional love
Boosting Self confidence
Learning to get along with others
Embracing one's natural ability to self-heal
Calming down and soothing emotions
This workshop is about teaching Reiki on a "kid level." They will learn:

Reflexology is an ancient hands-on modality working mainly with reflex points on the feet that correspond with the body and its internal systems to treat symptoms of disease or discomfort.

You will need to bring your own lunch and please wear comfortable clothing as courses are run in a warm, friendly, relaxed and peaceful environment and you get to have lots of fun while you are learning. During the lunch break you can either sit by the pool or sit on the upstairs deck enjoying the lake views.
