Annette now has Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard facilities for the payment of your treatments and for the puchase of gift vouchers. Hicaps electronic health fund claims are also now available. The Hicaps system saves a trip to your private health fund as claims are done on the spot, with any difference (gap) only needing to be paid for.

If you're a bit hesitant at giving your body over to be pummeled and manipulated - fear not! It doesn't have to hurt to be beneficial. When an area is quite sore, you shouldn't start with hard or deep work. It's better to warm-up first, letting the body relax, and then move into the more specific work. This way, your response is more inclined to be `that feels good' or `I really needed that', rather than it being a painful experience.

Remedial Massage
Remedial massage focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body. It is usually used to address specific problems associated with chronic muscular pain, injury rehabilitations, sporting and occupational injuries, RSI, and physical and mental fatigue.
Relaxation Massage
Relaxation or Swedish massage, promotes relaxation and eases emotional and physical stress. This is a nurturing and pampering treatment.
Reflexology Foot Massage
Reflexology is a thorough and deep system of massage devoted to the feet. This treatment is stimulating to the feet, the whole body and mind. The feet map out the entire body through a reflex mechanism so that by stimulating a certain area of the foot a corresponding organ or body part is also stimulated.
Seated Pregnancy Massage
Massage is used to help a woman feel more comfortable throughout her pregnancy. This is accomplished primarily by managing common musculoskeletal complaints and to prevent posture-related dysfunction. As pregnancy can also be a very emotional and stressful period in a woman's life, massage is beneficial to promote relaxation and ease emotional and physical stress. The Seated / Chair Massage allows a woman to receive massage in a specially designed massage chair. This is able to be done up until full term. Treatment is primarily on the back, neck and shoulders. Pregnancy Massage gift vouchers are also available.

Hours, Price & Insurers
As a Remedial Massage Therapist, Annette's treatments are covered by all Australian private health fund insurers. It is recommended you confirm massage is part of your cover with your health fund, and what rebate they will provide you. Workers Compensation Insurers and Tasmanian car accident insurance will also cover treatments on approval by your case manager.
Hours: Open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm by appointment only.

Directions and Map
I am on the corner of Brisbane and Charles Streets. Opposite both Chicken Feed and Portmans, above Priceline Pharmacy. The entry you need to go upstairs (to find me) is on the Brisbane St side of the building. It is not accessable from within the Pharmacy.
