The fascia that surrounds your muscles, bones, joints, organs etc., is like a body stocking, continuous throughout the whole body, from head to foot, and it can get twisted. Any restrictions in your fascia causes malfunction and /or pain. Fascia has the tensile strength of steel and can mould itself to how your body is used. For example, if you slouch, the fascia will mould itself to fit that posture. In turn it will affect how your joints work; reduce your range of motion, flexibility and circulation, causing pain, discomfort and the potential for further injury or overuse, now or in the future.
