SERVICES
I am a naturopath who has been working within natural therapies for more than 15 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, including a Natural Therapies college in Queensland, an acupuncture clinic in Nambour,a health food outlet in Hobart, and Australia's first Spa Resort at Coolum.
I have completed my Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine) in May 2006, this was via Charles Sturt University .
I work with many people with varying complaints, however, the main disorders that present in the clinic are digestive problems, hormonal disturbances, circulation, includes high and low blood pressure and cholesterol problems, weight management, anxiety and tension, skin problems, allergies, children's health, preconception care, pregnancy and fertility problems, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome, diabetes prevention management, support for HIV sufferers, Cancer and support for the immune system while on Chemotherapy.
I have trained extensively and experienced in Western Herbal Medicine, Nutrition Medicine, Iridology and Body therapies, so it is a very competant, wholistic and personalised practice.
I am also currently working with ACT Palliative Care, through Clare Holland House (Hospice), working with cancer patients , and others who are terminally ill. The work that I do in this area is truely complementary to mainstream medicine and may include reflexology, reiki, massage and may give nutritional advice if required. With this sort of work, I usually travel to your home, anywhere in Canberra.
I have incorporated the Bodytalk system into the practice since August 2005. This is a combination of biofeedback by subtle muscle testing with unique and various balancing techniques to get your brain and your body communicating better to assist the healing process. All diets are tailor made for the individual, with really delicious and easy recipes given.
Hair mineral analysis may also be a part of the treatment regime.
Herbal, nutritional supplements or flower essences may be given as part of the treatment plan.
