Jenny is a dynamic lifestyle consultant qualified to deliver and teach Exercise to Music, Ashtanga Yoga, Sivananda Yoga,Tripsichore Yoga, Pilates and Sports Massage to a wide fitness market. She is also certified through Yoga Alliance standards to teach the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainer Course.
She has attracted clients from all walks of life ranging from international best-selling authors, Pop Stars, television personalities and models, to businessmen, housewives and even pensioners. Jenny has appeared on national television doing Personal Training and has written several articles in magazines and newspapers.

I am a hard working professional woman, who spends a great deal of time at a computer, driving to meetings and rushing around after my two boys. By my own admission I push myself extremely hard and pack a lot into each day. I have had a ‘bad back’ for over 25 years. I had back surgery 18 years ago and have been plagued with back pain pretty much every day ever since.
That was until I went to the The South Shore Gym Yoga and Pilates studio and started work with Jenny Sherwood.
I have now been on her Backcare programme for 8 months and my back and my life are transformed. I started with a Backcare workshop, which was an introduction to Pilates, which was invaluable. It taught me the basic starting positions for each exercise and the all important breathing technique. I have been to 2 Pilates classes a week and have had regular back massages. I can now sit cross legged on the floor, touch my toes and stand up in a bar all evening rather than running for the nearest seat. I no longer take regular painkillers. And most importantly, I am free from back pain most of the time – nothing short of a miracle!
Having strengthened my core muscles ie my back and stomach muscles, I have been able to start Ashtanga Yoga with Jenny, which will increase my flexibility as well as my strength. Yoga is a journey of self discovery which I am very much enjoying.
