Privately owned and operated, Astarte Mind & Body is a small home-based studio catering up to a maximum of 6-8 participants per class, ensuring individual attention in an intimate and relaxed environment.


Classes

Class Descriptions

TRIBAL STYLE BELLYDANCE (All Levels)
A dance of strength and beauty, Tribal Bellydance is a fusion of Arabic, Turkish, Egyptian, Indian and Flamenco styles, specifically designed to be danced with a partner or group.

BELLYDANCING (Beginners to Experienced)
Suitable for all women, regardless of age, shape or fitness level, bellydancing provides a low impact, full body workout from the inside out. Bellydancing assists in toning and tightening the core, pelvic floor and abdominal muscles as well increasing mobility of the joints and spine. Most of all, bellydancing is fun, assisting in decreasing stress, improving confidence and energizing the spirit!
Beginners & Mixed Level classes available.

5 WEEK SPECIALTY CLASSES... TERM 4, 2011
ARTISTIC HOOPING WITH DONNA DEE(Mixed Level)
Learn how to use the hula hoop creatively in tribal and fusion style performances.
ROUSTABOUT PROJECT - CARNIE-TRIBAL WITH HOOP (Experienced)
Learn a tribal fusion style choreography utilising the hula hoop as a prop to Beats Antique's "Roustabout".


PILATES FUSION (Mixed Level)
Improve your strength, mobility and stability through a fusion of Fundamental Pilates exercises with yoga postures, breathing, balance and temple poses. Pilates is a powerful and invigorating workout designed to develop a "thinking body" where the mind and body work in harmony. Learn how to incorporate circles, bands and balls for a complete workout.

Astarte Mind & Body studio offers both One-on-One and Group Personal Training sessions specialising in Functional Strength Training and mind/body fitness. Achieve your health and fitness goals safely and effectively through a guided and structured personal program.

POWER PLATE - WHOLE BODY VIBRATION TRAINING
One-on-one and Group sessions

Vibration training stimulates the circulatory system while actively accelerating muscle contractions. Proven benefits include;

* ENHANCED FLEXIBILITY AND RANGE OF MOTION

The Power Plate is suitable for use with all populations with clearance to participate in cardiovascular and resistance training exercise modalities.

Service Price List

BELLYDANCE & PILATES: $15 per casual lesson. $100 per 10 week term for up-front payment. $30 weekly multi-class pass

PERSONAL TRAINING / POWER PLATE / PRIVATE LESSONS: $30 per 30 minutes.

GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING / POWER PLATE / PRIVATE GROUPS: $60 per hour (Maximum 3 participants)
