How it started – Avalon Essences Aromatherapy
I first got into making my own aromatherapy based products after venturing in and out of many Health Food Stores and not finding what I wanted so I would buy a variety of different oils and base products and mix to create my own blend.
I would also write down the ingredients I found in many so called ‘natural’ or ‘aromatherapy’ products and research them to find out what was actually in the product – this is when I realised people were not getting what they bargained for. I found many of the products contained chemicals and alcohols that dry out the skin or cause skin rashes.
This is when I decided to do something about it & create my own. It started just for me, then for family and friends but I kept getting orders for more so Avalon Essences was created.
Since then I have studied and continued to develop my aromatherapy skills and develop my hand crafted products.
All of my products are derived from plants, antioxidants, herbs, fragranced oils and essential oils for their therapeutic values; and do not contain harmful ingredients.
Avalon Essences is Australian owned and operated. The unique aromatherapy products are hand-made fresh in small batches without harmful chemicals, animal derivatives, harsh detergents or petroleum by-products.

Avalon Wellness – Ultra Lite Wellness “Weight Release” Program | Wellness for LIFE!
The Ultra Lite weight loss/weight release and detox program is based on sound science and common sense. Clinical research, medical trials and many thousands of successful patient outcomes support this method of rapid and sustained weight loss as the premium weight loss program. The weight loss and detox programs are designed to provide you with virtually all the necessary amounts of protein (based on recommendations of the World Health Organisation) carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential fatty acids in correct balance.
Successful weight loss and detoxification will only be achieved by re-education and “brain re-conditioning”. You will relearn healthy food choices from different food groups and more importantly appropriate, healthy portion sizes, thus obtaining desired weight. Ultra Lite only recommends wholesome unprocessed foods such as meat, fish, chicken, eggs, nuts, vegetables and fruits.
This program is not a calorie controlled diet where you can consume your daily intake of calories from foods from one group, nor is it a meal replacement where nothing is learnt about correct food preparation.
The Ultra Lite weight loss and detox program is a naturally balanced program based on a ketogenic diet system. By avoiding refined carbohydrates and sugar, and limiting excess carbohydrates you will maximise fat loss as your body will instead burn stored fat, providing energy through natural ketosis. In simple terms, our program is all about fat loss. Unlike many other quick weight loss programs, the Ultra Lite weight loss and detox program does not deplete your body of vital fluids and muscle mass.
You can lose up to 3 kilos in your first week and up to 1 to 3 kilos per week thereafter of fat loss. This is very rewarding for people who want to lose weight fast and natural but also allowing you to control your weight for life.

Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

But how does it work?
Well, during a treatment, the feet are placed into the foot basin filled with warm water to which I will add a saline solution. I use Himalayan Crystal Salt (you should always ask what salt is being used in the clinic or spa you attend ~ there is salt and then there is Himalayan Crystal Salt).
An ‘array’ that’s connected to the power unit is also placed into the water to emit a low-voltage resonant electrical current (consisting of an alternating positive and negative charge). This current electronically charges the water, resulting in the saline water becoming separated into both positive and negative ions, to create a process known as ‘ionisation’.
Research shows that ‘ionisation’ is exetremely benefical to the human body. An excessive amount of positive ions in the body which is all too common these days, can lead to illness, inflammation and dis-ease. The re-introduction of balanced cellular energy allows the body to increase its oxygen supply to all the organs of the body and kick-start any processes that the body may not be performing effectively. Ionisation therefore improves health, enhances well-being and restores natural harmony.
Similar to what happens within the body’s own fluids, the saline solution in the basin enables the transfer of the Ionic Foot Spa current. Because the feet are already in the water, the saline water within the bowl becomes an extension of the body’s own saline fluids. As a result, the ‘resonant’ frequency gently vibrates to ‘bio-stimulate’ the body’s cells too.
The Avalon Essences Wellness Ionic Detox Foot Spa Treatment therefore encourages the healthy balance of positive and negative ions, to circulate around the body, resonating and stimulating cells as the frequency moves about, freeing up blocked energies and releasing cellular toxins that may have built up. Consequently, the body’s cells are correctly restored back into balance to enable the body’s organ and cellular function to harmonise and work at optimum effciency.
Throughout and for a couple of days follows your treatment, as the body re-adjusts, toxins continue to be released from each cell and are excreted through the usual channels, in sweat, urine and faeces. Therefore, the Avalon Wellness Ionic Detox Foot Spa treatment also aids the body’s natural detoxification process.

It Works Wellness
The amazing products available through my IT WORKS business work wonderfully well with my Wellness Centre. I’d love to share my knowledge and passion with you.
My favourite IT WORKS products change from time to time but at the moment I am loving The Greens, The Defining Gel and the Facial Applicators, and well of course I love the Detox Wraps. I take The Greens every single morning as soon as I wake, it reminds me of a green orange tang and boy of boy I feel energized and ready for the day, I also use The Greens with The Defining Gel to make a fabulous mask (Food for the Skin) my skin feels lifted, toned and alive, I try and do this mask once a week sometimes its once a fortnight but certainly feels great afterwards, I absolutely use the Facial Applicators once a fortnight, I started once a week and loved the results so now make it a regular routine, they are soo much more than just a mask its like going to a Salon but so much easier, cheaper and better. I do use the Detox Body Wraps on a regular basis at the moment I am concentrating on my arms, I cut the wraps in half and use one half on each arm, I try and leave them on as long as possible and I am really impressed with the results.
