    The basic theory

Balance acupuncture activates body natural self healing mechanism by reaching particular acupoints to send positive messages to central never system and stimulate human brain. Traditional acupuncture requires manipulating needles to restore the balance between the equal and opposite qualities of Qi. Compared to traditional acupuncture, balance acupuncture is of distinctive speed and effectiveness.

Are there any side effects from Balance Acupuncture?

A: Balance acupuncture is a natural treatment. It is drug free and chemical free, safe and reliable.

Q: how many treatments will I need?

A: The number of treatments needed differs from person to person. For complex or long-standing
conditions, one or two treatments a week for several months may be
recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer but frequently visits are required, and for health maintenance, four sessions a year may be all that is necessary.

Q: What about the needles used?

A: We use single-use pre-sterilised disposable needles, which are disposed of immediately after use.

Q: Should I tell my doctor?

A: Yes. The acupuncture treatment may enable you to reduce or even stop taking
some forms of medication, but you should consult your doctor regarding any change of prescription. Your acupuncturist needs to know about any medication you are taking as this may affect your response to the acupuncture treatment.

Q: Sometimes the following treatments’ result are subtle compare to the first treatment, why?

A: Because your first treatment has greatly reduced the acute pain so you don’t feel the same strength of pain when you doing the following treatments. But your body needs to gradually recover over a period of time. It is important to complete your full treatments course to ensure a full recovery.

Q: Occasionally, the pain occurring on the opposite side to the treated side after treatment, why?

A: In theory, the pain affects both side of the body. Usually, one side of the pain is stronger than the other side. When the pain of affected side improved after the treatment, the pain of the opposite side
    start to show.
