WHAT IS KINESIOLOGY?
Kinesiology is a holistic natural healing method using the premise that our bodies have the inherent wisdom to heal themselves. It allows you to reach your full potential by achieving a state of total balance.
Combining Eastern medicine philosophy with a Western understanding of anatomy and physiology, kinesiology works to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
TREATMENT
Kinesiology is offered to the fully clothed client, usually lying down on a massage table.
The word kinesiology is derived from the Greek word “kinesi” meaning motion. It is a system of health care where muscles become monitors of stress and imbalance within the body.
Kinesiology uses a synthesis of techniques derived from ancient Chinese acupuncture, modern chiropractic, osteopathy, nutrition and naturopathy.
Muscle testing is the key technique in kinesiology - in combination with gentle, safe, tactile therapeutic techniques - used as an effective and versatile tool for detecting and correcting imbalances.

REIKI TREATMENT
Reiki is offered to the fully clothed client, usually lying down on a massage table. A practitioner will transmit Reiki to the client through the hands. The hands are lightly placed on or near the body in various positions around the head, shoulders, stomach and feet. Sometimes a practitioner will also treat above the body. A treatment can feel like a warm glowing radiance that flows through the body.
It is a relaxing experience and some clients report the body feeling heavy as it relaxes and yet the spirit or emotions feeling light at the same time. A treatment will usually release negative feelings or thoughts leaving the client feeling more positive, light hearted and with feelings of well-being.

To ensure appointment availability, I suggest scheduling a regular series of appointments.
Cancellation/Late Policy
When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved especially for you! In order to best serve all my clients, and for clients to be fair to each other the following policy is effective once you schedule your appointment: - If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, at least 24 hours notice is required.
- $25 charge for cancellations within 24 hours.
- Those who do not cancel appointments at least two (2) hours prior to their scheduled appointments will be billed for the missed appointment.
- Last minute cancellations and no-shows will result in full service charges.
- Clients who repeatedly cancel may be asked to pay for appointments in advance.
- If you are late to your appointment, the end time of the session will still be honoured to keep other clients from being inconvenienced, full session payment will be charged.
- Please call me, or leave a voicemail message if you need to cancel or are running late.
I appreciate your understanding of these policies: please help me run a successful practice by honouring our time commitments.
Sickness Policy
I recognize that both clients and myself are vulnerable to infections and therefore ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell. If you have any of the following contagious illnesses, the session will be rescheduled:
Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Fever, Chicken Pox, Measles, Mumps, Meningitis, Hepatitis A, Conjunctivitis, Rubella, Head Lice, Impetigo, Influenza, Meningococcal Disease, Polio, Ringworm of the body, feet or scalp, Scabies, Thrush, Whooping Cough and the Common Cold.
