Hi and welcome to Bloom,
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Vanessa and I am the founder of Bloom Family Health. I am a complementary medicine practitioner, homoeopath, naturopath and a herbalist. I currently operate my clinic in Mandurah W.A.

I am trained to provide natural health care for all ages, stages and health concerns. I do however, have a special interest in women's health care, and in the enhancement and restoration of fertility which is becoming a major concern in Australia.
1 in 6 couples now have difficulty conceiving. As a mother of 3 adult children it is truly a privilege to be able to enhance the fertility and enable these couples to conceive. My interest in fertility has led me to seek out and incorporate some of the most successful fertility treatments into my clinic.

Bloom offers pregnancy care which provides you with natural health care throughout your pregnancy. At Bloom we monitor your nutritional levels, provide dietary and lifestyle advice and nutritional recommendations that will help keep you fit and healthy throughout the pregnancy.

Homoeopathy can be useful for many common pregnancy conditions because it is a gentle acting, low risk medication. It works by gently prompting the bodys own healing mechanism's to restore balance. While homeopathy doesn't heal itself it triggers the body to heal itself. Conditions like nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), constipation, edema (fluid retention), hemorrhoids & varicose veins can be greatly reduced when homoeopathy is used this way. Also as a lead up to the birth it can be safely used to prepare for labour, to tone the uterus and emotionally prepare the mother for the birth - this is found to calm the mother and baby and enable an easier delivery.

Post-partum care – It is useful after the birth to help increase healing, reduce bruising, pain and discomfort, as well as for retention of urine, feeding problems, emotional re-adjustment and post partum depression.

Infant Care - Homoeopathy is great for infants and is often used for post birth trauma, feeding problems and to simply enable the baby to adjust to life outside the womb.
