Wendy Norman is a fully qualified, practicing Aromatherapist, and holds: - an Associate Diploma of Holistic Massage from the Australian College of Aromatherapy and Phytotherapy
- a Diploma of Aromatherapy from the South Australian Health Education Centre, and
- Level 1 & 2 Certificates in Bach Flower Remedies, accredited by the Bach Foundation UK.
Wendy has also studied other forms of vibrational medicine including Crystal Healing and Reiki and has been in clinical practice since 1994
She is a fully accredited member of the International Aromatherapy and Aromatic Medicine Association, former Editor of the professional journal, Simply Essential, and served as a member of their national council for three years. She has also been a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society since 1999.
Wendy was appointed the Aromatherapy lecturer at The South Australian Health Education Centre in 2006 and has written and presented National Health Training Package competencies in Aromatherapy for TAFESA.
Since gaining her international qualifications, Wendy has specialised in the formulation of specific Aromatherapy products to treat a wide range of everyday conditions. This lead to the development of a number of well regarded products, that were consolidated into Wendy’s business ‘Blossom Aromatherapy’, launched in 2004.
Blossom Aromatherapy offers products with an application in three specific areas:
Blossoming - products specially formulated for use during pregnancy and childbirth. They have been enthusiastically welcomed by midwives and expectant mothers, and are gaining wider acceptance by birthing units both in Wendy’s home state, South Australia, and interstate.
Baby Blossom - mild and gentle products specially formulated for use with babies and children.
NEW to this range is Free - a shampoo to prevent head lice taking hold in families with young children.
Blossom Aromatherapy - with Hair & Body Washes, Massage Oils and Essential Oil Blends for use in a wide range of everyday situations.

Using her knowledge of Aromatherapy and Bach Flower Remedies, Wendy has a range of gentle sulphate-free shampoos and Bach formulations which she manufactures under The Beautiful Dog Company label. Available from professional pet stores, they are used and recommended by leading groomers and animal behaviouralists. More information is available under 'Animal Therapy'.
Wendy also acts as a consultant to health professionals in hospitals specialising in maternity and early childhood, and in aged care facilities. She has worked and taught in palliative care units, and is a regular guest speaker at ATMS and Ausmed conferences and seminars.
Wendy is passionate about Aromatherapy and the desire to integrate natural therapies into everyday life and is available to teach private groups the benefits and correct use of essential oils for home and work place; and can also teach baby massage to mothers groups.

Aromatherapy for Pleasure - 12 hour leisure course is held regularly in Adelaide and country SA by arrangement. Participants learn the correct use of essential oils to enhance every area of their lives, including various applications methods; product manufacture and massage.
