About Us
My training is as a Herbalist and Nutritionist.
My consultations centre around conducting comprehensive diet and lifestyle analysis as well as obtaining a full patient history – a complete ‘body system’ review is also taken in order to help with prescribing a holistic treatment plan.
Treatments centre around adopting healthy dietary and lifestyle habits as well as using herbal medicines and nutritional supplements where necessary to treat certain health conditions or to support wellness.
My main passion is for food – and educating people about how to improve their diets. I encourage the use of good quality, nutrient dense wholefoods.
Food Sensitivity Testing - In Clinic
Food sensitivity testing is also available in clinic for anyone who is struggling with food intolerances.
Food detective allergy testing is a blood test for food antibodies (IgG) to 59 foods. The test results will show you the level of the reaction you have to a certain food ranging from a mild to a strong reaction. Dietary adjustments are made according to how strong a reaction is. Food intolerance testing can be done as a stand alone test or as part of a herbal and nutritional treatment.
My aim is to provide individualised care to all of my patients and base my treatments around sensible dietary and lifestyle advice as well as prescribing herbal medicines and nutritional supplements where necessary. My main concern is that clients feel comfortable, supported and informed about their health while in my care. I try to provide realistic approaches to healthcare so that they can be implemented as easily as possible and maintained for long term benefit.
Qualifications
I am an ATMS accredited Herbalist and Nutritionist.
I currently practice in both these modalities to offer holistic health solutions to my patients. I have been working in the health industry in varying roles for the last ten years. I received my qualifications through Nature Care College in Sydney.
I am also studying towards a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) at Charles Sturt University in order to further my qualifications. In addition to this, I attend regular seminars to keep up to date with recent research and treatments in both Herbal Medicine and Nutrition.
