Not firing on all cylinders? It's all systems go with kinesiology!
SERVICES
Welcome to Body Brain BalanceWith stress forming an increasingly common aspect of our busy lives, many people are experiencing the side effects of this imbalance in the form of physical, emotional, mental and learning difficulties.
Stress causes overloads and blockages in your body's energy system. Kinesiology uses natural energy therapy and muscle monitoring to de-stress and unblock the energy so that it can move around freely. This balances your body and mind so they can reach their full potential.
Kinesiology treats the cause of the problem, not the symptoms, and can help with:- Physical and mental health: treating depression and anxiety, improving fertility and hormonal issues, enhancing energy and general wellness, and stimulating the immune system, growth and development
- Sport and structural: preventing and reducing stress injuries and recurring pains, improving recovery times, increasing focus, helping to achieve more personal bests
- Education and learning: addressing learning difficulties, switching the brain on, improving reading and writing, increasing attention span
- Business: maximising productivity, gaining a competitive edge, increasing efficiency, improving business outcomes.
Body, Brain, Balance is based in Townsville, North Queensland. Qualified kinesiologist Jocelyn Saggers has a background in early childhood education where she supported students with learning disabilities in mainstream classes.
She is passionate about kinesiology as a therapy to improve overall wellbeing, as an accompaniment to mainstream Western medicine, and enjoys working with clients to tailor a health solution that is specific to their needs.
About Jocelyn
Jocelyn Saggers first recognised the benefits of kinesiology when she was an early childhood teacher.
The children would come in from each break excited, chatty and hot, but after putting them through five minutes of ‘switch-on' exercises that are designed to calm the students and prepare them for learning, Jocelyn noticed how focused and productive they became.
These exercises are just the tip of the kinesiology iceberg and - fascinated with the results - Jocelyn wanted to learn more. She noticed that there were always a handful of students in every class who continued to struggle no matter how hard they tried or how much time their teachers gave them. She wondered if a more one-on-one and in-depth kinesiology approach may hold some answers.
Jocelyn began learning kinesiology, training in Townsville, Brisbane and Adelaide in the Touch for Health (TFH) and Neuro Linguistic Kinesiology practices, and became a registered kinesiology practitioner with the Australian Kinesiology Association.
Through Body, Brain, Balance, she now educates fellow teachers on how to use kinesiology in their classrooms and works with people from all spheres of life to help them balance their body and mind.
Kinesiology has helped Jocelyn personally with overcoming depression, bringing the tendency to overwork and over exercise back into balance and helping her to transition through menopause with non-pharmaceutical intervention.
