Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Australia which is, as you know, a multicultural environment. I have two brothers, and both are health practitioners: one practicing Western medicine as a surgeon at the Concord Repatriation Hospital, and the other practicing Eastern medicine as a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Having these two influences in my family, I became interested in health and well being. This interest lead me to become a fully-qualified beauty therapist, specialising in remedial massage, skincare, aromatherapy and spa treatments.
In Australia, there is a lack of regulated standards on how a professional salon should operate. Moreover, there are no strict rules as to the minimum qualification a beauty therapist must hold. Therefore, the level of professionalism and expertise can greatly vary from one salon to salon.
In order to achieve a high standard of skill and expertise, I have completed an Advanced Diploma in Natural Beauty, Spa and Nail Technology from the Australian College of Natural Therapies. Further to this qualification, I have also undertaken further training and have achieved the internationally recognised qualifications with ITEC and CIDESCO.
As demonstration of my abilities and qualifications, I have also had the opportunity to work in recognised hotels such as the Sheraton Hotel, performing the highest quality spa and beauty treatments as part of the in-house services provided by the hotelier.

3) Remedial Massage (30mins/60mins/90mins/170mins)
When muscles become knotted and tense or damaged, remedial massage provides a healing treatment that can be gentle or strong, deep or shallow. Remedial massage holistically treats the body, and with the knowledge of anatomy & physiology will help in identify the original biomechanical dysfunction, thus healing the cause of the disorder, as well as the symptoms.
Remedial massage uses several specialised techniques to locate and repair damage to muscles, tendons and joints. The techniques are deep tissues, trigger points and acupressure points.
Muscular and skeletal dysfunctions often addressed with remedial massage include muscle tightness and pain, arthritis, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, whiplash, neck and back pain, scoliosis, headaches and sports injuries.

Swedish massage is a smooth flowing style that helps reduce; stress, improve circulation, range of movement, eases and tones, muscles, provides the deep relaxation that allows our minds and bodies to recharge and rejuvenate.
5) Aromatherapy (30mins/60mins/90mins/170mins)
Aromatherapy is the therapeutic massage treatment use of essential oils, made from plants and flowers. Aromatherapy is light and smooth flowing style to relax your mind. It combines a facial lymphatic drainage to balance the mind and soul. This is great to alleviate symptoms of headaches, insomnia, stress and digestive problems.
6) Pregnancy Massage (30mins/60mins/90mins/170mins)
Using a combination of Swedish and remedial Massage techniques, to assist with the tensions and pains experienced during pregnancy. These are often caused by the extra weight and shift in the centre of gravity. There are many physical benefits to pregnancy massage, in addition to the nurturing and emotional support during the treatment. Massage reduces peripheral swelling, soothes the nervous system, helps to prevent insomnia, muscle cramps and back pain.
7) Facial Lymphatic Drainage (30mins/60mins/90mins/170mins)
Combinations of lymphatic drainage and acupressure point, it helps removal of toxins from your system. A regular facial lymphatic draining can reduce sign of aging and reduce swells on the face. To enhance the treatment, it is also uses blended synergy essential oil to suit your skin too.
