Welcome to Bowen in Paradise
The original Bowen Technique is a gentle form of body work in which very subtle moves performed over the muscles, connective tissue and nervous system.
The results can be remarkable, even from the first session and often only a few sessions are needed to correct the presenting problem. Chronic conditions can be managed and relieved like no other modality. Recent injuries recover at a remarkable rate.
Unlike most other hands-on therapies Bowen, does not use forceful manipulations and the therapy not only addresses muscle and skeletal problems, but also nerves and internal organs.
The treatment is performed over the clothes of the patient allowing a more comfortable and relaxed state.
Bowen improves circulation lymphatic drainage and aids in the assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins. Tom Bowen said,” that any or every condition could be addressed by this technique".
The technique is extremely gentle and should be considered by anyone from pregnant women to newborn babies, the frail and elderly, even the healthy benefit from a Bowen treatment.
