I have been a practising Bowen Therapist for several years now, having helped many people, horses, dogs and other animals over that time.
I got involved with Bowen Therapy, as my then Bowen Therapist was giving my horse a treatment and a suggestion was made that perhaps my groaning husband who had hurt his back, would benefit from the Technique's ability to help the body re-align strained muscles and tendons and seeing my husband get off the treatment table after his treatment with a rapidly improved posture sealed the deal!
I undertook 2 years of training and became qualified in both Human and Equine Bowen Therapy at the Euorpean College of Bowen Therapy, qualifying in 2003 with high distinctions. Since then, I have had my own successful businesses in England, New Zealand and now I'm practising here in Melbourne, Australia.

Sciatica - I was unable to put weight on my right foot and was in severe pain from my buttock down my right leg. I felt extremely tense and tight. After my first Bowen session, my body completely relaxed. When I got up, I was virtually pain free and could walk normally! After two years the problem has not returned.
