Breathe and Balance has been offering inspirational retreats and workshops and wellbeing programs to individuals, groups, workplaces, hospitals and schools since 2006.



Our Mission…

To offer life changing and inspiring wellness programs and retreats to enhance wellbeing physically, emotionally, spiritually and psychologically. To provide time for you to draw your energy inwards, focus on yourself and nurture your mind, body and spirit to a higher state of living.

About our retreats…

Our retreats run regularly throughout the year. Most are held in Victoria and run from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Our longer retreats are held in Byron Bay, Italy and Bali, giving you the opportunity to take an extended break in these beautiful destinations. All locations are chosen specifically for their beautiful surrounds and wonderful accommodation and each retreat has its own unique program which is inspired by the group, the location, and the time of year.



Your Instructor…

As the founder of Melbourne-based yoga and well-being business Breathe and Balance (www.breatheandbalance.com.au), Tanya has been practising yoga for 14 years and completed her Hatha teacher training in India.

Today, her teaching style is a mix of Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar and this ancient knowledge is supplemented by her Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Psychophysiology. During her years of yoga practice, Tanya has seen, first-hand, the enormously positive influence yoga has had on her own life, as well as the lives of the many others she has studied with and taught.

She approaches her training with both sensitivity and light – aware that each individual takes something uniquely individual from their yoga experience. Through Tanya’s guidance, yoga is shown as something fun and enjoyable, too.



A retreat for everyone…

Our retreats are suited to both experienced yoga practitioners and those who may be enjoying it for the first time. While the retreat is designed at offering something special to the person experiencing it, friends, family and loved ones accompanying the retreat guest will also enjoy their holiday, with a range of additional activities to ensure a memorable stay.
