Monitoring Men's & Women's Health - We provide FULL BODY and BREAST scans, accompanied by full medical report by doctors experienced in thermology. The scan process is non-invasive, PAIN FREE, has NO RADIATION or BODY CONTACT.
Thermal Imaging gives effective indicators and can provide EARLY DETECTION and further investigative recommendation of abnormalities and potential onset of dysfunction such as: cancer, auto immune, heart, bowel, liver, vascular, thyroid dysfunction, fractures, muscle & sports injuries (to name a few). It is suitable for monitoring results of ongoing treatment.
Thermal imaging monitors surface blood motion dynamics at a pre-capillary level which is under the direct influence of the sympathetic nervous system, and can therefore show activity BEFORE it becomes SYMPTOMATIC or/and a STRUCTURAL MASS.
Did you know that YOUR THERMAL PATTERN IS UNIQUE TO YOU?
When a CELL is damaged, becomes dysfunctional or abnormal in any way from it's original state, it CHANGES TEMPERATURE, either becoming hotter or colder.
This is how Thermal Imaging, as a diagnostic tool, can show PHYSIOLOGICAL CHANGE or METABOLIC PROCESSES in the tissue.
It can show this in systems of the body, such as:- SKELETAL
- MUSCULAR
- NEURAL (nerves)
- VASCULAR (veins/arteries)
- CARDIO (heart)
The main objective of Thermal Imaging is to establish your normal thermal pattern which is like your fingerprint ('baseline'), which will provide an accurate benchmark for future monitoring.
Digital Infrafed Thermal Imaging (DITI) is increasingly being recognised and used more broadly by medical practitioners and natural therapists to assist with diagnosis and follow-up treatment and as an adjunct tool to other screening tests. DITI may detect thermal activity that could be a precursor to heart and breast abnormalities , vascular obstruction, auto-immune disorders, skeletal, muscular and neural dysfunction etc.
Thermal Imaging is offered as an additional way to have full or part body checks or monitor an ongoing problem, knowing they have NO RISK of invasive radiation damage and/or tissue damage.

WHAT IS DIGITAL INFRARED THERMAL IMAGING? Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI), is a non-invasive diagnostic assistance scan that allows a health practitioner to see and measure changes in skin surface temperature. An infrared scanning camera reads & translates infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface and records them on a color monitor.
This visual image, graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a thermogram. The spectrum of colors indicates an increase or decrease in the amount of infrared radiation being emitted from the body surface. The body's skin surface emits a unique gridlike thermal pattern that is associated to different parts of our body.
In healthy people, there is a symmetrical skin pattern which is consistent and reproducible for any individual. DITI is highly sensitive and can therefore be used clinically to detect changes at a cellular level in the vascular, muscular, neural and skeletal systems. This late model MEDITHERM camera captures 40,000 to 70,000 individual termperature readings in each image, and can detect changes in temperature to 1/100 degree celcius.
DITI has been used extensively in human medicine in the United States, Europe and Asia for the past 20 years. Until now, bulky equipment has hindered its diagnostic and economic feasibility. Now, PC-based infrared technology, designed specifically for clinical application, has changed all this - and we have full access to the Electronic Medical Interpretation (EMI) processes provided in the USA, through Meditherm. The reports are conducted from a panel of doctors & are available within 48 hours, or less if required.
Clinical uses for DITI may include:- defining the extent of a lesion of which a diagnosis has previously been made (for example, vascular disease);
- localizing an abnormal area not previously identified, so further diagnostic tests can be performed (as in Irritable Bowel Syndrome);
- detecting early lesions before they are clinically evident (as in breast abnormalities);
- monitoring the healing process before a patient returns to work or training (as in workman's compensation claims).
- monitoring angiogenesis reduction during chemotherapy treatment
Medical DITI may fill the gap in clinical diagnosis. X-ray, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are tests of anatomy or structure. E.M.G. is a test of motor physiology.
DITI is UNIQUE in its capability to show physiological or functional changes and metabolic processes. It may also prove to be a useful complementary technology to other diagnostic procedures.
Medical DITI may show a combined effect of the autonomic nervous system and the vascular system, down to capillary dysfunctions. The effects of these changes reveal an asymmetry in temperature distribution on the surface of the body.
DITI is a monitor of thermal abnormalities present in a number of clinical dysfunctions and physical injuries. It is used as an aid for diagnosis and prognosis, as well as therapy follow up and rehabilitation monitoring, within clinical fields that include acupuncture, osteopathy, podiatry, rheumatology, neurology, physiotherapy, sports injury therapy, massage, chiropractic, naturopathy, oncology, pediatrics & orthopedics.
Thermal Imaging's most important role is in the comparative analysis. Changes from one screening to the next indicate abnormal activity and predictable risk. The first screening is only a baseline. It's the follow-up comparative images that provide the most valuable information. We call this analysis "Monitoring for Change".
The follow-up repeat scan to establish your normal thermal pattern ('baseline') is required at no less than 3 months (and not more than 5
months) from initial scan. This is the recommended time to determine identifiable change in cells.
Further thermal images are dependant on the initial Thermal Image result, family history and risk group, and can be 3 monthly, 6 monthly or 12 monthly. All patients thermograms are kept on record with Meditherm and form a base line for all future routine evaluations. These records are available to you anywhere in the world where a Meditherm Thermographer is practicing.
Thermal Imaging is NOT for the detection of late stage cancer. It is used to HELP PREVENT dysfuction getting to that stage.
Results obtained with medical DITI systems are totally objective and show excellent correlation with other diagnostic tests.
BENEFITS OF D.I.T.I. IN BREAST SCREENING DITI of the breast offers the opportunity of determining cell dysfunction maybe earlier than has been possible with breast self examination, physician palpation or diagnostic methods. DITI is a non invasive test. This means there is no contact with the body of any kind, no radiation and the procedure is painless. This 15 min test is a valuable adjunctive tool for alerting gynaecologists and primary care physicians to the possibility of underlying breast dysfunction.
DITI may be especially appropriate for younger women under 50 whose breast tissue is usually more dense. This test can provide a 'clinical marker' to the physician just before clinical breast examination.
During a clinical breast examination, a physician must rely on fingers (or palpation) and eyesight to detect tumors in the breast, which for women under age 50 may often occur when cancer is no longer localized or confined to the breast. DITI is indicated for women of all ages, particularly in the age group 30 - 50 and women of any age in a high risk group with family history of abnormal pathology.
DITI may detect subtle physiologic changes that accompany breast pathology, where it is cancer, fibrocystic disease, and infection or vascular disease.
Breast examination recall is dependant on Thermogram result, age, previous history and risk group and can be 3 monthly, 6 monthly or 12 monthly. All patients thermograms are kept on record and form a base line for all future routine evaluations.
Thermal Imaging is NOT for the detection of late stage breast cancer. It is used to HELP PREVENT breast dysfunction getting to that stage.
