Lynne Kershaw
Hello, my name is Lynne Kershaw. I started studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1994 at the Australian College of Natural Medicine.
I was compelled to study natural/complementary medicine after my 3 year old daughter had fallen very ill and our experience in the western medicine system had been frustrating and frightening. As a parent, I felt a strong need to have better knowledge of health and what I believe to be a better way of wellbeing for our future.
I am passionate about educating my clients to be responsible for their own health and that of their families. I believe more knowledge of your body and emotions enables you to lead a healthier, happier and fulfilled life.
I opened my clinic in Oxford Street, Bulimba in 1998, providing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Massage to the local community.
After practicing Acupuncture for about 3 years, I felt there was something more or deeper that I could offer my clients, so I started searching for another therapy to add to my practice.
In 2000, I started studying Cranio Sacral Therapy at the Australian Institute of CST, graduating in 2003 with, at that time, the only Diploma of CST available in the world. CST is practiced in every continent throughout the world.
Since then my practice has grown enormously and my clients benefit from the combination of therapies that complete a successful and holistic healing system.
What do I treat?
I start at the beginning, preconception care, in utero & pregnancy support, labour & birth preparation, post partum care & education.
Pediatric care – from birth, including feeding, colic & unsettled babies.
Children’s’ health & nutrition, learning difficulties or behavioural difficulties, ADD, ADHD, Aspergers & Autism syndromes.
Acute or Chronic Pain, structural problems, migraines & headaches, back & neck.
Hormonal imbalances & their manifestations including menstrual, menopausal, endometriosis & PCOS.
Chronic Illness – people who have been around the cycle of allopathic medicine & are still not improving in their health & wellbeing. Or, those who have an undiagnosable state of health.
Life – people who are having difficulty dealing with a traumatic situation they have experienced, trying to change a destructive pattern of behavior.
My goal is to assist & support you to be the best you can be, physically, mentally & emotionally.
