LEESA WEBB BHSc ---

Practicing since 1996 ATMS Member. ALL HEALTH FUND REBATES.

Extensive experience in sports massage (Leesa has massaged an array of professional and elite athletes).

Pregnancy Massage at this clinic is performed on a very comfortable specialised table which you can lay face down on throughout your pregnancy. Leesa is a very experienced practiitioner of pregnancy Massage and a mother herself!

Extensive experience in all aspects of Remedial Massage.

Leesa practices Naturopathy with special interest in herbal medicine, digestive problems, sports health, functional pathology and womens health She has been a qualified Naturopath since 2000. Direct phone number is 55355218

DANIEL TURNER - B.Phty (Univ QLd) Daniel graduated from University of Queensland in 1992. He has extensive private practice and hosptital; experience on the Gold Coast. He has worked in England and Germany as a physiotherapist for the Royal Navy and the Bristish Army. He also worked as consultant physio with the Australasian Golf Academy. He has a pecial interest in sports physiotherapy (particularly shoulder, golfing and surfing related injuries), and musculoskeletal conditions including post-orthopaedic surgery and complex multi-joint injuries.
He is a keen surfer and golfer, and plays in Oztag and touch football teams socially. Dan offers Clinical Pilates

CERIDWEN WAY - B.Phty (Univ Qld) Ceridwen "Crid" graduated from the University of Queensland in 1992. She has extensive experience in priavte practice and hospitals in Australia and the UK. She was the team physiotherapist for the Australian Precision skating team (and a 6 times Australian champion!) Crid's special interest is in lumbo-pelvic dysfunction, ante and post natal musculoskeletal problems and pelvic floor dysfunction. She can help with pre and post natal problems and their effect on the body. Crid is also a Hydotherapy expert providing individual hydrotherapy programs every Tuiesday morning at Palm Beach Olympic Pool. Crid also offers Clinical Pilates

LEANNE KENWAY - B.Phty (Univ Qld) Leanne graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours in 1999 and then started her career at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. She then worked in the USA at Decatur Memorial Hosptial and was involved with establihing the Corporate Health Centre as well as providing Back Car Awareness programs to multinatonal companies. Leanne has extensive private practice experience. Her areas of interest are the neck, lower back and pelvis as well as women's health issues. Leanne offers Clinical Pilates.

GLENN LINDSAY - B.Phty (Univ Syd) Glenn is a very accomplished phyiotherapist with extensive in private practice and working with elite sporting teams. He was head physiotherapist for the Bristish Paralympic Swimming team and pysiotherapist for the BristishOlympic Swimming team. He was also the travelling physiotherapist for the Jordon Formula One Racing Team from 2002-2004. Glenn is currently the team physiotherapist for the Ford Performance Racing Team in the Australian V8 Supercar Series.

MARTINE RICHARDS - B.Phty(Univ Qld) Has a special interest in sports and is a highly qualified pilates instructor




WHAT IS IT?

REMEDIAL MASSAGE - A therapeautic massage treatment employing deep tissue and Trigger point therapy to treat problem areas. This is more than a feel good for an hour massage and can be used to treat and resolve most soft tissue injuries

RELAXATION OR SWEDISH MASSAGE- This is for the person who does not like a heavy handed approach to massage. It is relaxing and re energising. Great for those who are stressed out!

PREGNANCY MASSAGE - A must for pregnant women. Back pain does not have to be part of this very special time in your life. Remedial massage techniques can alleviate most of this. If you have no pain why not you and your baby enjoy the relaxation and de stressing of a fabulous massage. Our table enables you to experience absolute comfort lying face down on your belly throughout your pregnancy.

NATUROPATHY - A naturopath deals with internal health problems, metobilc disorders and imbalances, through the treatment of the whole person. In general, a wide range of diagnostic techniques are employed to assess causative factors, and treatment may involve dietary changes, herbal medicines, bodywork or nutritional supplements.

HERBAL MEDICINE - Classical herbal medicine utilises the Hippocratic principles of treating the person, not the disease: elvaluating the whole life style as well as the emotional and circumstantial enviroment of each patient, not just the physical symptons. Individual herbal prepartions are prescribed

SPORTS MASSAGE - Massage techniques are used with to help prepare the body, aid recovery and enhance performance. Stretching exercises may be prescribed. Sports massage will improve your athletic performance and allow you to get more out of your body.

NUTRITION - The treatment of diosorders and disease with specific substances to correct or prevent an imbalance, and to correct the daily nutrition so that once biochemical balance has been acheived through supplementation, it can be maintained with a daily diet with minimial supplementation.

FUNCTIONAL PATHOLOGY - Specilised laboratory testing which investigates functional, biochemical, nutritional, metabolic and hormonal status. Commonly used tests include food sensitivities and GUT Permiability. The results functional pathology testing provide accurate information which may enable the practitioner to make a correct diagnosis and give effective treatment and advise. PHYSIOTHERAPY- employs manual therapy and mobilsation, strengthening and stetching programs as well as dry needling, acupuntcure, electrotherapy and taping to treat injuries and dysfunction to optimise your physical health.

CLINICAL PILATES - is a proactive treatment for the prevention and rehabilatation of spinal pain, it aims to optimize core muscle function

HYDROTHERAPY - or as it is now called , aquatic physiotherapy, is a great way to begin rehabilitation for those with severe low back pain or injuires to the lower limbs.

GYM VISITS - can be made to enable your exercise & strengthening program to enhance4 your rehabilitation.
