The unique benefit of the MedArt hair removal laser is it makes it possible to treat large areas extremely fast. The MedArt laser is designed for very precise spot overlap and an even distribution of energy over the treatment area, and this guarantees safety.
Treatment safety is guaranteed by the strong combination of super long pulse technology and contact cooling. The super long pulse technology makes it possible to work with pulses up to 1000 msec to treat even the darker skin types. The pre, parallel and post treatment contact cooling highly increases confort and minimizes any risk of unwanted side effects such as burning.
 Immediately after treatment, you can expect a mild erythema/sunburn-like sensation, possibly accompanied by some minor swelling or inflammation. This usually lasts 2-24 hours, and can be soothed with cold gel, ice packs or cool roller.
- The treated hair will continue to appear for 7-21 days post treatment. This is not new hair growth, but the treated hairs being expelled from the skin.
- At any given time, there is only a percentage of hair in a phase of active growth. Therefore you will need more than one treatment to affect the growth of all your unwanted hair.
- Spider and leg veins: Vessels may disappear after treatment or they may appear darker and then fully or partially fade within 10-14days.
- Typically, several treatments will be required to achieve permanent hair reduction.
HOW DOES THE MEDART LASER WORK?
MedArt laser systems use a specialized scanning handpiece which places a series of 9 spots each with a diameter of 8mm. The scanner is designed for very precise spot overlap and even distribution of energy over the treatment area. The super long pulse diode laser pulses into the hair follicles. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the follicles and converted to heat. The heat then loosens the hair and disables the cells responsible for the growth of nes hair.

Any body area can be successfully treated expect around the eyes. The upperlip, face, neck, underarms, bikini line, legs and back can all be treated.
