What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is an established recognized system of diagnosis and treatment. Its main emphasis is on the structural and functional integrity of the body. It is distinctive because it recognizes that much of the pain and disability we suffer stems from abnormalities in the function of the body structure as well as damage caused by disease.

What are the Principles that Osteopaths use in their Work?

    1. Structure and function are reciprocally interrelated.

    2. The body is a single dynamic unit of function; mind, body and spirit.

    3. The body is capable of self-repair, self- healing and health maintenance.

    4. Rational treatment is based on the employment of above 3 principles.

What kind of Problems can Osteopathy help with?

  • Headaches and migraines

  • Babies eg. Colic

  • Repetitive Strain injuries
