CHINESE MEDICINE
Chinese medicine is an ancient oriental method of understanding and treating disease, it has continued to thrive and suceed over two thousand years.
In modernday living Chinese medicine has proven to assist other heath care modalities, whilst at the same time stands alone as a sole preventer of disease and harmony.
Chinese medicine takes a holistic view of disease, which means that, not only are physical signs and symptoms addressed but also the state of ones mind and emotions.
This outlook allows for the application of Chinese medicine to be considered in treating a wide varity of health issues.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture treatments invilve the insertion of sterile, fine, hair thin pits into acu-points. Stimulation of these points will clear blockages, support and nourish the normal flow of energy or qi and assist the organs in their functions of running your body. Accupuncture is painless, the acu-points can also be stimulated using other techniques such as massage, moxabustion and cupping
MEDICINE
Chinese Herbal medicine is the use of substances found in nature to regulate and assist the body's normal function. The herbs are taken mainly from plants (leaves, stem, roots, seeds etc) but other natural substances are also used like minerals and animal products. Each practitioner is edicated as to what products are safe and ethical to use in their clinics. the herb maybe dispensed in raw form, in pill form or in a powder form.
