Craniosacral Therapy
The Craniosacral system comprises the membranes and fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, as well as the bones of the cranium, spine, sacrum and pelvis. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a subtle yet profound therapy, using deeply relaxing and gentle techniques that work with the nervous system to influence a range of body functions. CST can restore vitality and well being, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve sleep. Specific techniques address headache, sinus jaw, neck and back pain.
Myofascial Release
Fascia is specialised connective tissue that surrounds and connects every structure in the body. Myofascial Release employs gentle, sustained traction that stretches, softens, lengthens and releases restrictions in connective tissue. Myofascial Release techniques relieve pain and tension, increase range of motion and improve posture.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Lymphatic massage techniques are deeply relaxing, gentle techniques used to drain lymphatic fluid from the body’s tissues. Promoting healthy lymphatic function improves circulation, boosts immune system function, aids digestive processes and assists in detoxification with elimination of toxins and wastes.
Polarity Therapy
Polarity therapy is based on ancient Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic systems of human energy. Polarity Therapy employs touch, rocking and holding techniques to release energy blocks and restore balance. Polarity Therapy works with the nervous system to relieve stress, improve sleep, promote vitality and well being.
Anma Massage
A traditional Japanese massage using kneading, percussion, and stretching to relieve pain and tension. Anma techniques may be applied directly on the skin or through clothing. Anma is ideal if you prefer a deeper pressure massage.
