My name is Elvira. As a Chinese Medicine physician and a Qigong teacher, I am committed to your health and wellbeing, and here to offer you my knowledge and experience of health and healing drawn from Chinese and Tibetan medicine, Qigong practice, meditation and life itself.

I invite you to get well with Acupuncture and through self-healing exercises of Qigong.

As your Chinese Medicine Physician, I am committed to your health and wellbeing. I am here to offer you my knowledge and experience of health and healing drawn from Chinese and Tibetan medicine, Qigong practice, meditation and life itself.

The atmosphere of the clinic is set up particularly for you to unwind from your busy and stressful daily life, relax, rest and recover your energies while allowing your body to restore its self-healing mechanisms.

During the treatment you and I will discuss your health concerns; I will perform the Chinese Medicine diagnosis by taking your pulse, looking at your tongue and asking you questions which will guide me towards the treatment methods specifically and individually for you. Chinese Medicine treats the whole person and not disease. Therefore, we can discuss your diet, work/rest/exercise/sleep habits to determine what you are already doing well and what can be enhanced to allow you the best opportunity of healing. Healing in Chinese Medicine is very much dependent on the practitioner and patient trust in each other, and on each other’s commitment to the patient’s healing. In other words, both you and I need to put in effort and work together to achieve the best result.

Acupuncture is one of most ancient and characteristic therapeutic techniques of Chinese medicine. Very fine needles are inserted into various points in the body with the purpose to heal various conditions.

According to the principles of Chinese Medicine, the body possess a sophisticated network of channels through which the energy – Qi, is circulating. All diseases are the result of this energy not flowing properly. Stimulating different points allows the Qi to flow well again which relieves pain, produces relaxation of mind and body, produces homeostatic effect harmonizing the body’s innate ability to self-regulate and enhances immunity. Acupuncture also produces an anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effect, as well as it hastening motor recovery in patients who became paralysed.

Energy Healing

We are all energy beings. Our body is a small universe which is a part of the large universe.

Inside us, various levels of energy (Qi or Chi) make up our body - from the grossest and most obvious like our physical body, to the most subtle like our mind and emotions. These energies are also interracting with the energies outside ourselves.

I have studied Chinese and Tibetan energy healing practices passed down to me by the living masters.
