Chirotechnic offers a holistic range of healing modalities to enhance performance and maintain optimum health for people and animals. We are passionate about being healthy, staying active and living a pain free life without restriction.
Not only do we treat humans we also employ Chiropractic and Acupuncture techniques to Horses, Dogs and Cats. We have had some remarkable successes using these techniques.
HUMANS
All joints can be treated with Chiropractic care. Chiropractic techniques correct joint biomechanics, reduce inflammation and accelerate the healing process of injured muscles, tendons and ligaments. It can also help with many types of injuries including sports injuries.
Fiona specialises in sports and musculoskeletal injuries; she is very experienced in this field especially as an Acupuncturist because she has furthered her studies in orthopedics, biomechanics, rehabilitation, pathology and neurology which has given her extensive knowledge as a Sports Injury Acupuncturist.
HORSES, DOGS & CATS
Horses, Dogs and Cats respond well to both Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatments. Either can be used to complement your veterinarian’s diagnosis and treatment, or used independently as a preventative, health maintenance program or therapy for specific physical or behavioural difficulties. Fiona has had many years experience treating your family dog to thoroughbred racehorses.

"Several months after taking up jogging to improve fitness levels, I developed lower back pain.
I put up with the pain for a while thinking stretching and technique deficiencies were to blame. "I managed a small thoroughbred stud near Sydney, which carried spelling racehorses, weanlings and sales yearlings. Fiona was first approached to help a race filly that was often lame and not fulfilling her potential, and the vets could not source the problem.
