Massage Therapy - Remedial/ Sports/ Deep Tissue/Pregnancy
Christine uses a combination of many styles from soft and gentle to deep massage with stretching, mobilisation and trigger point therapy as required. Musculoskeletal problems are addressed using advanced massage techniques.Christine also specialises in pregnancy massage.
Hot Stone Massage
Massage with smooth, heated stones is a nurturing experience beyond compare. In this comforting and healing massage, stones of varying sizes and weights are settled comfortably into the body contours on areas that tend to hold tension like the back muscles, abdomen and face. Oiled stones are then used in flowing strokes to relax the whole body. Sessions usually last an hour or hour and a half. Please mention at time of booking as preparation is needed prior to your appointment.
Bowen Therapy
A gentle, non-invasive technique, which activates the body's own ability to heal itself. This technique consists of small, precise moves over specific points of the body, which stimulates energy flow and an immediate healing response.
A series of bowen treatments specific for hormonal symptoms can assist you to manage these problems - menopausal symptoms, period pains, fertility & pregnancy difficulities, endometriosis, prostate problems, loss of libido.
Bowen can also assist if you are experiencing hot flushes, mood swings, irregular periods, vaginal dryness, night sweats. Fertility difficulities, pregnancy support & managemnet, birth preparation & easing of delivery can be aided with Bowen Therapy.
Incontinence for men, women & children may also be relieved with the Bowen treatment as well as back and neck pain, sciatica, plantar fascitis, migraines and much more.
Reiki
Reiki is a gentle laying on of hands to accelerate the body's ability to heal. A perfect introduction to bodywork - relaxing, calming and clearing for the mind, as universal energy flows through the practioner's hands.
Christine is also a Reiki Master and can run workshops for anyone who is interested in becoming a Reiki I or Reiki II channel.
