Christopher Semmens Clinical Psychologist
Anxiety, panic, fear and trauma specialist, Christopher Semmens uses a a multi modal approach including thought field therapy, clinical hypnosis, mindfulness meditation, REBT and CBT modalities for rapid release from emotional distress.
Emotional distress manifests in different ways, usually toward the person's individual vulnerabilities. Clinical Psychologist Christopher Semmens addresses the presenting problem by accessing and treating the negative emotions and or experiences that may be underlying the problem.
Christopher has been practising as a clinical psychologist for over 25 years. He has trained with most of the leading figures in the area of psychological treatment of anxiety disorders and continues to add to his knowledge through regular professional development courses, trainings and events.
For the past 9 years he has been using a new generation of clinical psychology technique known as Thought Field Therapy (TFT) and achieving oustanding outcomes in around 75 to 80% of cases. This technique is particularly effective in healing traumatic stress.
Chris completed the 2 year Australian Society of Hypnosis Diploma training in 1983 and he has been using hypnotherapy successfully as part of his approach to healing emotional pain since then.
Chris' services are rebatable from private health funds (A070).

Chris is offering Thought Field Therapy training workshops during 2010. The worshops are open to mental health professionals and interested lay people.
