Welcome to Circles of Learning
Circles of Learning formed to address the growing number of children faced with learning difficulties and, in response to this, have channelled a wealth of knowledge and experience into a range of practical, multi-sensory programs that assist children to overcome their challenges.
Today, twenty percent of Australia’s children experience challenges in learning, with fifteen percent of those having multiple learning difficulties. Most are labelled as having Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Hyperactivity, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Dyslexia, Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and more, and usually fall within the autistic spectrum, from those marginally affected to the more seriously affected.
Circles of Learning are committed to providing a range of quality options to manage the many challenges facing families living with highly sensitive children.
Welcome to More About Us
Circles of Learning is a non-profit organisation established 1999 partnering with families, schools and communities to bring practical solutions for better health and learning.
Through Circles of Learning, children gain a strong foundation for life— bringing love and laughter into their lives and building up their self esteem, while encouraging a positive attitude towards learning and creating community spirit and support.
Circles of Learning takes positive steps for children to find their inner strength, and through good nutrition, visualisation, exercise and courage, they can find happiness and achieve their full potential.
Programs available help stop the ongoing challenges of ADD/ADHD and related learning and behavioural issues. Our core formula links the basic building blocks of life with the latest practices in whole brain learning.
Learning Programs
Creativity and play is vital to the development of a child’s mind, their feelings and wellbeing. Stress together with poor nutrition, is a major contributor to illness, disease and poor learning skills.
Our fast paced society and intellectually based education system leaves little time for creative pursuits, which help balance the brain and body. As a result twenty percent of children in Australia now suffer learning difficulties; either withdrawing, becoming isolated (those in the autistic spectrum) or showing distress and aggression (often described as hyperactivity).
Each program is focused on one of the aspects of healthy development, or combines several aspects for a broader experience. They all aim to:
- Enhance the ability to learn, improving academic achievement
- Broaden creative skills
- Raise self esteem
- Strike a balance with nature
- Relax and centre
Each program has its own unique style of learning, art, creativity and play and encourages individuals to take greater interest in nurturing themselves and helping others.
