My introduction to homeopathy was experiencing the relief it gave me when I developed mastitis after the birth of my first son. It has been part of our families health care ever since.
Recently I supported my father after an injury to his eye which tore and detached the retina...... after surgery the doctor said ' Wow the inflammation is really down - that's a miracle!'
My father was grateful for the skill of the surgeon & the use of homeopathy to give him the best outcome possible, to keep his eye & vision.
I combine my knowledge of homeopathy with over 20 years experience as a registered midwife.
Why use homeopathy and what to expect from your treatment?
Homeopathy is used by millions of people of all age groups around the world.
Preventative medicine: Homeopathy can build resistance and constitutional strength so that you are less susceptible to disease.
The aim of constitutional homeopathic treatment means you succumb less often to previously recurring infections.
Acute illnesses: These consultations are approximately an hour long, where immediate homeopathic prescriptions are given.
Constitutional care: The initial consultation is 1.5 to 2 hours, during which time thorough discussion of your presenting problem takes place.
Symptoms you are feeling, what makes it worse or better, lifestyle preferences, personal & family health history is taken into consideration during this visit.
After review of your case, I will initiate a treatment plan with you.
Preferably homeopathic medicines treat the whole person and not only their presenting disease or symptoms.
At other times an injury or situation would benefit with first aid remedy treatment.
What can homeopathy treat in pregnancy?
You can choose to undertake homeopathic treatment during pregnancy, as it is safe & non-toxic.
Concerns and discomforts arising can be treated knowing it will not harm your baby.
Homeopathy can work in conjunction with other medical treatments without adverse side effects.
