Massage Therapist: - Remedial, Oncology & Relaxation and Rosen Practitioner
Clear Day Therapy: relax, refresh, discover …
An invitation
“If you have pain that seems to have no cause, or you think something needs to change or you would just like to increase your awareness of how you live in your body and how that affects things day-to-day, come and have a Clear Day session.”
Relax: find your way back to relaxation, essential for the body and mind to operate efficiently and effectively.
Refresh: when you relax, you allow space for new ideas and new ways of thinking and being.
Discover: ways to be in your life, business and personal, with increased calm and equanimity.
Rosen Method Bodywork:
The explosion of research in neuroscience confirms the importance of touch and contact for human development and well-being — for regulating our emotions and our physiology.
The Rosen Method uses receptive touch and verbal dialogue to assist you in opening to long-forgotten experiences and emotions, and to release unconscious limiting beliefs and negative ideas about the self stored in the body.
Lynda is an internationally registered Rosen Method Bodywork Practitioner. She has trained with many Rosen Senior Teachers including Marion Rosen (founder of the Rosen Method) and Gloria Hessellund (the Director of Teaching for Rosen in Australia) in the United States, Australia and Denmark.
Lynda is passionate about the potential of the Rosen Method, mindfulness massage and nurturing touch to transform people’s lives.
“I am interested in encouraging and supporting you to find your inner truth, to explore choice and the potential to make positive change in your life.”
In Canberra, Lynda operates her practice, Clear Day Therapy, within the Primal Balance Clinic, Torrens.
Lynda also holds regular Rosen Method clinics in Sydney at The Centre in Randwick.
In addition, she facilitates Rosen Method workshops in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne and elsewhere by request.
Remedial and Relaxation Massage:
Massage therapy helps wellbeing and encourages healing by promoting the flow of blood and lymph, relieving tension, stimulating nerves, and stretching and loosening muscles and connective tissue to keep them elastic.
Whether you seek remedial treatment or want to find ways to counter stress, Lynda will work with mindfulness and care, assisting you to find ease and lessen tension.
Step by step, this process can change your life.
Oncology Massage:
“One in four Australians will experience cancer in their lifetime ...”
In addition to being a qualified massage therapist, Lynda has trained in Oncology Massage (with Eleanor Oyston) for people living with, or in remission from, cancer.
Oncology massage is not so focused on working out knots, detoxifying the body or increasing the range of movement.
This treatment offers a way of lowering anxiety and pain and improving energy. Sessions provide a time where peace and relaxation can begin, providing an opportunity for reconnection to the physical, emotional and spiritual self.

Learning opportunities.
The skills and practice of the Rosen Method relate to living well and mindfully.
When we allow ourselves to train in and practice an approach to one another inclusive of respect and care, rather than engaging only our more usual analytical or judgmental selves, we can learn a lot about the effects and power of nurturing touch.
We find new ways to be, through the medium of touch, and discover that a more integrated self (embodied self awareness) is possible.
Skills (and qualities) such as: acceptance; the ability to focus; increased awareness of self and others; compassion; and development of the capacity for mindful listening are enhanced and deepened.
We can change. Skills can be learned and then applied in most of the situations in which we find ourselves with friends, family and colleagues. Life enhancing skills!
Allowing ourselves to become more self-aware and self-accepting, leads us to feelings of equanimity and builds our resilience.
Being more aware and skilled in our interactions, lets us be more ‘there” or present when we meet and relate to others.
Please call Lynda to plan a presentation/demonstration and/or workshop to benefit a group in your area. As an added bonus, if you are willing to successfully organise a one or two day workshop of 10 people (minimum) in your locality, you could receive complementary tuition and a Rosen bodywork session in conjunction with that workshop. Please contact Lynda for more details.
