Kinesiology

For Adults:
For adults Evelyn works with a variety of tools and techniques to provide holistic recovery therapy and life coaching for each individual client. Using a comprehensive range of kinesiology, reiki and therapeutic products (see list below). Evelyn uses the muscle bio-feedback system to determine the most gentle and effective techniques to support recovery. As you move away from a balanced place you begin to feel out of sorts emotionally, physically and mentally.

Kinesiology is a simple tool that can help you find solutions, sort through the mysteries as to why you are feeling stressed and gradually build the confidence to strategise and change behaviours and emotional patterns that keep you stuck on the merry go round. For Babies, Toddlers, Children and Teenager
Kinesiology and Learning Difficulties: Evelyn’s focus of Kinesiolgy for children with learning difficulties is in the area of 'brain integration'. Brain integration modalities include Educational Kinesiology (Brain Gym), Anatomy and Physiology of the Brain and the LEAPand Primitive and Postural Reflexes Program. Correction techniques help to release stresses and clear blockages and emotions impairing clear pathways to learning. Is your child struggling at school? Are they angry and tense or overly shy and withdrawn? Are they avoiding homework tasks and the battle lines are drawn each night? If they are having difficulty with reading, writing, maths or learning in general then Evelyn can assist your child.

With babies, toddlers and preschool children Evelyn uses her knowledge of parenting, kinesiology and educational understandings to work with you and your child. This can be diverse such as feeding problems, behavioural difficulties, speech language problems, sleeping or digestive problems. Evelyn often refers parents onto other professionals such as Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Visual Therapist or Paediatricians as required. Evelyn uses a technique called surrogacy where the testing is done with the parent especially for a small baby. It is drug and pain free intervention and it works. Educational Kinesiology supports your child to improve their emotional responses to learning opening up clear pathways for them to build bridges to new concepts. Evelyn has a wealth of teaching experience across a broad range of perspectives. She combines this knowledge of children learning with her understandings of Kinesiology to quickly pinpoint the issues and effectively support you and your child with a positive learning outcome.

Evelyn also does educational consultant work by tutoring children 1:1 or in small groups. These tutoring sessions are tailored to suit the child's individual needs and she works closely with the child's teacher and parents to deliver improved outcomes in all aspects of your child's learning. Specific tutoring is available in reading, maths, writing. Evelyn specialises in Swedish Massage therapy. The gentle art of massage allows you to relax and revitalise yourself. Reiki is a Japanese word for Universal Life Energy. Reiki moves toward balancing the person to eliminate stress, promote relaxation and speed healing. Evelyn is a level 2 Reiki practitioner. Massage and Reiki are very relaxing and support you to heal and balance your body. When experiencing Reiki you will feel a gentle relaxing wave of energy flowing through your body. It can often allow you to feel better emotionally.
