Welcome to Common Ground Natural Therapies
In today's fast-paced, stress-filled society, many people are becoming less aware of what their bodies are trying to tell them about their health.
Many people reach for a medicine pill for an antidote to their symptoms, rather than allowing their bodies to heal naturally.
Common Ground Natural Therapies aims to enable you to understand how you have developed your unique health condition and how you can take responsibility for managing it in the future, with a little help from nature.
Consultations involve a two-way process between client and therapist to reach an understanding or "common ground" on the most effective and practical natural therapies that you can use to manage your condition.

About Craig
Naturopath, Relaxation and Remedial Massage Therapist.
During my late teens and early twenties, I struggled with the debilitating psychological effects of anxiety and depression on my self-esteem and personal development.
I sought professional, psychological counselling for these conditions and this process enabled me to appreciate how they had developed within me.
However, I also realised that I had to take responsibility for managing my condition, rather than putting all of my faith in a therapist.
I realised that I felt more upbeat after exercise, so I began to do yoga, joined a gym, played squash for the first time in years and began to eat a low-fat, low-sugar, vegetarian diet.
I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion) degree at Deakin University in the early 90s and then worked as an activity leader with Life. Be In It., teaching primary school children how to be involved in physically-active, non-competitive games in the mid 90s.
Then, in the late 90s I studied fitness instruction and personal training and briefly worked in a gym environment, but I realised that many clients were still unsatisfied with their health, despite achieving physical goals
I wanted to develop a stronger rapport with clients to enable them to better understand the powerful link between their bodies and minds, which is why I decided to become a naturopath and massage therapist.
I am an accredited member of The Australian Natural Therapists Association, which provides strict guidelines for professional conduct amongst natural therapists, within a continuing education framework.
