Background
Misha was born in South Africa and moved to Sydney in 1967. She worked in a variety of professional organisations as Secretary, Personal Assistant, Administrator and Business Manager before moving into the Alternate Health Profession.
She started looking for answers to some of life's major questions in the 1990's. An Energetic Healing course in 1994 and meditation studies on the Tree of Life the following year opened the door to a new way of feeling and viewing life. She has been on her spiritual journey ever since. Understanding comes from conscious reality so she is always open to expand her awareness and share her knowledge.
As a result of many years of experiential practice she has come to the conclusion that some of the major objectives of life are to feel secure, loved, healthy and free to fulfil our potential as human beings. A positive outlook and genuine understanding help to expand awareness.
On the other hand, pain discomfort or negative thoughts have an adverse effect on the mind, body and emotions and disrupts the flow of energy throughout the body.
Reflexology
Misha studied Reflexology and qualified in 2003. Further studies in Facial Reflexology, Maternity Reflexology, Auriculatherapy and other related modalities are on-going.
Reflexology is a relaxing, yet powerful and therapeutic process which has been effective in treating a variety of illnesses, injuries and tension related problems. It is based on the principle that specific areas on the feet, hands, ears and face relate to the internal organs and reflect a map of the body. By applying special massage techniques and applying firm but gentle pressure on these areas the corresponding organs in the body are either stimulated or calmed.
If part of the body is too tender to touch through surgery, injury or if the skin is broken and other forms of bodywork cannot be used, reflexology is ideal as it provides access to all parts of the body through the feet.
Reflexology has the potential to work on many levels to help balance the body, improve circulation, release toxicity and blocked energy channels or simply for easing the aches and pains of the daily pressures of life.
While balancing and energising it also induces deep relaxation which gives the body an opportunity to heal itself.
Spiritual/Energetic Healing
Energetic Healing utilises universal light vibrations to tune and align the subtle body. It has the potential to release blocked energy channels, energise the body and take the healing process to a deeper level.
It is always important to look at the human body in its totality, that which is seen and felt as well as that which is not seen but sensed. The original cause of pain or illness is often buried within the psyche and, through expanded awareness, can be released.
Emotional or mental blocks impact on the physical body and cause discomfort and possible disease so it is important to acknowledge and release this inner tension. Doing this in a non-confrontational environment, provides support, calms the nervous system and allows the person to take control of their own life process.

Meditation
Meditation is a process to stop the activity of the mind and become consciously aware of higher levels of reality beyond the mind. It has been proven scientifically to encourage general well being, reduces stress and emotional distress.
Acknowledging that man is more than the physical body alone (that which is seen) is the first step in expanding awareness and opening up to new ways of looking at life. Classes are offered in understanding different life processes, consciousness levels and triggers which propel us to take reactive actions.
Occasional chanting sessions and guest days also available.
