About Angie Verzi
I am trained in various therapies, ranging from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to Narrative therapy, to Strategic and Systemic Therapies. I am also interested in starting a Transpersonal Psychotherapy course which encompasses alternative methods like, Sandplay, Rebirthing, Womb work, Torching, Voice dialogue, Energy work and Dreamwork.
I have worked with people my entire adult life. From nursing with the elderly for over 3 years (studying nursing through the day and community welfare at night) to working with people with an intellectual disability in a child protection, family focused framework. I have offered counselling to families for over 10 years now and decided to begin my own business from my home premises when I was pregnant with our first baby in 2004.
