Jenni Horner (Skewes) is PACFA Registered and a Qualified Therapist and Hypnotherapist, with over 30 years experience working in many areas of mental health, originally coming from a background of psychiatric nursing.
I am very versatile in my approach to counselling, and hypnosis, being open to supporting any one who walks through my door, who genuinely wants to work towards creating new possibilities in some area of their life. I offer a totally non-judgmental atmosphere, assisting you to recognise your skills and strengths, looking at how these can be implemented for creating change, reaching goals and ultimately enjoying a more fulfiling future. I am able to offer a range of techniques, catering very much for your individuality.
I also offer a range in training with workshops suitable for organisations and tertiary education as well as being licensed to run Ampersand Australia’s Solution Oriented Counselling Courses for individuals or groups www.ampersandaus.com.au .I am one of ten Authorised BSFF Therapists from around the world trained by Dr Larry Nims to teach the Be Set Free Fast technique to therapists. Jenni is a registered Psychiatric Nurse (Div. 3) and General Nurse (Div. 1) with a Bachelor of Nursing, Graduate Diploma of Community Health Nursing, Diploma of Solution Oriented Hypnosis, Advanced Diploma of Counselling Psychology and Cert. IV in Training and Assessment .
Jenni is both a Member and Past President of ASOCHA (Association of Solution Oriented Counsellors and Hypnotherapists of Australia), which is a constituent member of PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia). She is an ASOCHA Representative for PACFA and an active member of the PACFA Sections Reference Group, representing Hypnosis. Jenni is also a member of AHA the Australian Hypnotherapist's Association and ACMHN (the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses).
