Welcome to Crown St Healtharium
Crown St Healtharium is located in Surry Hills, close to Oxford St and the City, and is a cottage- industry, or to be more precise, a ‘terrace house industry’, run by resident practitioner, Meredith Plowman.
Meredith offers two different treatments that complement each other, the first Facial Harmony, is a beauty and relaxation treatment, and the second, Rekindled Ancient Wisdom is an energy balancing treatment based on Kinesiology for releasing stress. Flower Essence remedies are also offered to provide on-going assistance.
Meredith has a background in Reiki, Aromatherapy Massage, Kinesiology and Herbal Medicine, and has worked in the Natural Therapy field for the past ten years.
Facial Harmony
Facial Harmony is a treatment that was taught to Meredith by founders Anna McRoberts and Tanmayo in 2002.
The Facial Harmony technique is a gentle rolling massaging movement that increases energy flow in the meridians of the face and head, and the skin and muscles of the face. The gentleness of the touch melts tension in your face and restores a softness and openness to your appearance, while giving your face more tone and radiance to your skin.
“Even after years of giving treatments, I am still amazed at what a difference it makes to peoples faces, and how much they glow afterwards” says Meredith.
The benefits from a Facial Harmony treatment are threefold. Firstly, there is the Beauty Benefit where changes to your appearance can be noticed after your first treatment, your eyes may open, your jaw may lift etc. Secondly there is the Health Benefit, as the meridians on the face run through the body and connect to the corresponding organs. Headaches may be alleviated by working on the Gall Bladder meridian, or from working on the meridians relating to the digestive organs a release of stress may be felt in that area.
Thirdly there is the Relaxation Benefit, which the gentle soothing nature of the treatment induces. “It certainly is a time effective way to get a deep sense of relaxation. In as little as an hour you can expect to melt into the massage table and need coaxing to get up afterward” says Meredith.
Facial Harmony treatments cost $90 for approximately 90 minutes appointment time, including your treatment time of an hour.
Your nurturing time is not rushed, and you are given individual attention.
Rekindled Ancient Wisdom
Meredith was introduced to RAW energy balances by her Facial Harmony collegue Lynda Davenport, and begun receiving training in RAW from founders Pam Myers and Sally Worth in 2002.
R.A.W energy balances use the Kinesiology technique of muscle testing to find out what your energy system needs, and in what order, to achieve a balanced state of peace and responsiveness, as opposed to stress and reactiveness. When you are peaceful and responsive you have what is termed Personal Power. R.A.W balances can be used to address any issues [ie difficulties] on any level, or any aspect of life experience.
Rekindled Ancient Wisdom is based on addressing your energy system as a whole, namely the Twelve Parts of the Being - Emotional Being, Dimensional Realities, Spiritual Being, Higher Self, Mental Being, Inner Child, Physical Being, Parent Gene, Subconscious, Ego, Soul and God-Within.
Regardless of what issues you are addressing, the result of a R.A.W balance will be an increase in Personal Power. Meredith is not a Medical Practitioner, and only claims that R.A.W treatments can assist your energies to stop reacting and to instead respond, however, this can achieve a peaceful state for your healing energies to be ideally activated.
